Chapter 2

Author's POV

Angelina wiped her tears and started cleaning the garden. After an hour when she was about to finish her work, she saw Lucky and her group were throwing dust middle of the garden. 

Angelina's eyes went widen seeing this. 

"Hey, Please do not throw dust in the garden. Please throw those in dustbin" Angelina requested them but they avoided her and went away. 

Angelina looked at the dust and sighed sadly. Now, she had to clean the garden again. 

Without wasting any time, Angelina started cleaning the garden when someone kicked her back hardly. 

Angelina fell on ground and hissed in pain. She turned and saw Maria looking at her angrily. 

"You useless whore. How much time you need to clean this garden? You are good for nothing" Maria shouted at Angelina. 

Before Angelina could say something, Lucky spoke up from a little distance," Oh come on mommy. How can a whore clean this garden? She just knows how to please a man. Disgusting human whore. She does not have any shame. She even slept with our teachers for marks. Here I am working hard to become the top student studying hard day and night and here this human disgusting whore is going on sleeping around. Mommy, she hates me. She always wants my post. That is why she slept with the teacher. She wanted to show me low. Kill her mommy. Just kill this human whore" Lucky shouted and smirked at Angelina. 

Angelina just looked at Lucky with shock. She never hated her. She never hated anyone. But everyone hated her. 

Hearing Lucky's words, Maria fisted Angelina's hair tightly and spoke up," My daughter is right. A whore like you can not do a single work properly. You can just open your legs for any random man, you pathetic whore" Maria said and slapped her. 

Looking at the other maid, Maria spoke up," Do not give her food today. It is her punishment" 

The maid nodded at her queen. Maria looked at Angelina with hatred and walked away. 

Lucky sat down before Angelina and spoke up," Listen you whore. Kill yourself before I murder you. You are good for nothing" 

Saying this, Lucky went away. 

Tears rolled down Angelina's cheeks. She did not bother to wipe them. She just kept cleaning the garden. 

She wanted to hate Maria, James and Lucky but she could not. Because it was their king who permitted them to keep her as their servant. Maria told her that their King had told them to abuse her. 

Angelina hated him for doing this. Sometimes she wondered, why their king hated her that much? Why he permitted them to abuse her? 

Angelina looked at her knees and saw blood. She smiled sadly and wiped the blood then started working again. 

After some time Angelina finished the work and went towards the kitchen to wash everyone's plate. 

When she entered the kitchen, her eyes went widen. She saw Maria was kissing a guard. 

Angelina gasped in shock and left the kitchen hurriedly. She came outside and took a deep breath. 

"Let's wash everyone's clothes Angelina. Then you can clean the plates" Angelina told herself and started walking towards the common washroom. 

When Angelina entered into the washroom, she saw lot of clothes there. 

Angelina looked at the clothes and sighed sadly. It would take less than three hours to wash all those clothes. Angelina was not allowed to use the washing machine. 

Angelina sat down on a bench and started washing the clothes. Angelina saw some clothes were covered with mud. Seeing those she understood those are Lucky's clothes. It is Lucky's habit. She made her wash her clothes everyday. If she did not find any dirty clothes to wash, she simply threw her clothes in mud and then ordered Angelina to wash her clothes. 

Nearly, after three hours Angelina completed the work. She hanged the clothes then sat down on a bench being so tried. Her stomach started making noise. She wss hungry but Maria made her meal off today. 

"It's okay. It was not the first time she took my meal off. I would drink water till tomorrow afternoon. Oh, I forgot to mention they only give me lunch. No breakfast, no dinner. 

Even on the lunch I get the leftovers. One bread and water. Sometimes, I get some leftovers banana or cake. I do not remember when I last took the proper food. I do not remember when was the last time I get vegetables. I cannot think about eating meat or chicken. Servant like me does not deserve to eat proper food. Since, I remember I always fill up my stomach with water" Angelina thought and a tear rolled down her cheek. 

Suddenly she felt someone hit her back by belt. 

Angelina shouted in pain and saw a guard looking at her angrily. 

"Stop your imagination about fucking man, you whore. Go and prepare the lunch. Our kids will return from school soon" The guard told her. 

Angelina just nodded her head and started running towards the kitchen. 

When she entered the kitchen she did not find Maria. She thanked god and started preparing lunch for everyone. 

"You useless human whore. Next week we have a function here. You need to cook for four hundred people. And when the function will be going on do not dare to come out from your basement. Human servant is not allowed in the function. If you break the rules, then you will face the worst punishment" A lady told Angelina and left the kitchen. 

Angelina kept cooking the food. When she finished cooking, she set the dining table and went inside the kitchen to bring plates. 

As soon as she entered the kitchen, Lucky came towards the dining table and put a lot of salt in the vegetables and chicken curry and then went from there. 

Angelina took the plates from kitchen counter and went towards dining table. Then she put the plates. 

Then everyone entered the dining room and took their seats. Angelina served them and stood a little far. 

As soon as they put the food in their mouth, they started coughing. Angelina looked at them confusingly. 

Maria drank water quickly and looked at Angelina angrily. 

"Come here" Maria shouted at her. 

Angelina stood in front of her. 

"Why did you put so much salt in vegetables and in chicken?" Maria asked her dangerously.

"I did not mix salt" Angelina said innocently but Maria slapped her hardly. 

"Kill the useless whore" One of them spoke up. 

"Useless human. She does not know to cook properly. Punish her. She wasted our lot of food" A lady spoke up. 

"This whore only know how to open her legs. Just kill this burden" Lucky shouted angrily. 

Maria fisted Angelina's hair tightly and dragged her in kitchen. She saw the hot oil boiling on stove. 

Maria smirked while Angelina looked at her fearfully. 

"Please believe me. I did not put salt" Angelina requested her but Maria put Angelina's hand in the hot oil. 

Angelina shouted out in pain. She tried to remove her hand but Lucky and other two girls held her from back. 

Angelina kept begging them to leave her while crying in pain. 

But they started laughing. When Angelina was about to lose her conscious Maria removed her hand and left the kitchen. 

Angelina fell on ground. Her hand was hurting like hell. She wanted to scream in pain but there was on one who would listen to her scream. She wanted to cry her heart out but there was no one who would lend her his shoulder to cry. 

Angelina kept looking at her brunt hand while silent tears rolled down her cheeks....
