“You can leave now. Thanks.” Fay said to the receptionist.

As the receptionist left, she sat down and began to look through the company's newest ideas. She was quite unhappy with them. She couldn't believe that expert designers designed those pieces of junk. She looked at the name at the bottom of the design and called the design department right away.

“Bring Bea in here."

Bea, who was wearing a stylish blue suit, came to the office soon enough. The smell of her perfume was so powerful that it filled the room right away.

Fay took out her plan. "This necklace you made has problems with color and isn't really special. Are you really going to provide this to the client?.”

“I just did what the client asked me to do." Bea said as she played with her freshly painted nails, "I don't see any problems.”

Fay, with no emotion, drew circles around Bea’s faults on the design with a pencil. "You messed up the three views of the necklace from the start, and there are a lot of little things. Look at the diamond in the middle..."

"I believe my design is good, Miss Roy. Even though you're the new boss, expertise is still important in the design business. I've been a designer for a long time, and I only respect those who are good at what they do.”

Fay laughed and took a blank piece of paper from under the desk. "Okay, tell me what the client needs. What occasion is this necklace for?”

Bea said with a laugh, "Let's see how good you really are. The customer wishes to give this necklace to his fiancée. He wants us to make a one-of-a-kind, beautiful necklace that shows that his feelings for her.”

"Please give me seven minutes. I'll do a rough sketch of this necklace.” Fay waved and Bea left.

Seven minutes? No way! Even the most experienced designers at the company  wouldn't promise they could make something in such a short amount of time. Bea was sure that Fay would embarrass herself.

Fay began to draw, showing the design bit by bit. She already had the necklace's details and color scheme in her head, so she finished the design in one go. In less than seven minutes, a basic drawing of the necklace was made.

She called Bea back into her office.

"Finished? What now? How do you know that your design is better than mine and meets the client's needs?" Bea asked, looking angry.

Fay put her and Bea’s designs on the desk and then shouted out to the door. "Come on in."

More than ten skilled designers from the company came into her office.

"These were sent in by two designers who recently applied to the company," Fay replied, pointing to the two designs on the desk. “Please vote for the one you believe is superior.”

The designers assumed Fay was putting them to the test, so they did what she said. Bea laughed and didn't think her design was good. But all ten designers chose Fay’s design.

Bea didn't get any votes! The designers began to praise Fay’s work. "This designer's style is so much like Teds design, the famous designer who made a big splash in the business two years ago."

"Yes, exactly! It’s like Teds."

Bea quickly thought of Teds, the great designer, when she heard this. In fact, Teds was a legend in the business. But it didn't matter.

Fay beat Bea by a score of 10 to 0.

"I won. Do you see?” Fay smiled at Bea.

Bea’s face changed color right away. She took her design off the desk and ran out of the office. The ten designers figured out that Fay and Bea had made the two designs.

"Miss Roy, your style is so much like Teds," one of them said with interest. “Do you know her? Or did you learn from her?”

Fay’s mind flooded with old recollections when she heard the name Teds. She was the Teds they were taking about. Back when she was still married to Teddy,  she used the name of Teds the full meaning Teddy,  to show how much she loved him. But now it was just a joke. She didn't want to deal with that unpleasant past any longer.

She looked down and said quietly, "I don't really know Teds, but I really look up to her." Her long lashes concealed her feelings. “I learned from her by looking at her design style. It's hardly surprising that my designs look like hers.”

The designer nodded. "I understand. Miss Roy, you are very gifted.”

“Yes, Miss Roy, your designs are great,” Another designer said, "I could definitely learn a thing or two from you."

"I have my problems too. If you have some free time, Miss Roy, you should come to the design department and give us some advice.”

Fay nodded. "Of course, no problem."

The designers liked her design and thought she was easy to talk to.

"You only beat me by chance Fay. Don't get too full of yourself!” Bea grumbled and looked at them from outside the door. She was so jealous that she thought about what to do next.

She had an idea and went straight to Griffon’s office. Griffon heard a knock on the door and glance at the door.

He was drinking his coffee without a care in the world. When he spotted Bea, his eyes brightened up. "Hey, babe, what’s up?"

Bea walked up, sat on his legs, and put her arms around his neck. She said in a sexy voice, "Fay made me feel bad. You have to help me or she'll keep picking on me.”

Griffon was also unhappy just hearing Fay’s name. "She's just trying to make her mark because she's new. For now, let's leave her alone,” he told her, "We'll take care of her later."

“But Grif, I can't wait any longer," Bea whispered in his ear in a flirty way. “I want her to leave this company right away. She is plainly going after me. As long as she's around, I'll keep hurting!"

But Griffon nodded in disagreement. "Oh no... She must have some strong support. We can’t mess with her now.”

“But we have to do something at least, only today that she came and she’s already trying to be above everyone else.”

Griffon scowled and continued, "Bea, my love. I can't let you go through that. She might have connections, but if I can get her to mess up here, she'll definitely lose her job.”

Bea smiled as she leaned on him. "Do you have any ideas?"

Griffon  responded, "I don't have a specific plan yet, but trust me, she won't last long at the company before she's embarrassed and fired."

Bea knew Fay was going to have a hard time since she remembered the employees Griffon had fired before. A smile of victory spread across her face.

She said, "You're so good."

"I can do even better. Want to know?” Griffon grinned and ran his fingers suggestively over her thighs.

Bea put her legs in stockings around his waist. Griffon pushed her down on the desk with a strong touch.

Her eyes flashed with a hint of contempt and anger. She said to herself, "Fay, just wait. Your laughter won't last long here.”

Celia’s smile somewhat expanded as she felt needed after receiving Teddy’s directions. "Be at ease and let me handle it," she stated with a confident smile. “Nothing will go wrong.”"Okay," Teddy said apathetically, turning his head away from her. As she stood there, Celia silently wondered how to get in touch with that so-called Miss Roy and assist in fostering collaboration between Ward Group and Fy Jewelry in order to win Teddy’s favor. That Roy family name made her remember that Fay had also the same surname and her face was immediately filled with disdain and hatred. She snorted. Fay could never belong to the powerful Roy family, she only had the name as her surname.Jill abruptly interrupted Celia’s thought, "Cel, Fay is here." Celia looked up, following Jill’s eyes. Fay was standing across from her and Teddy, as was to be anticipated. Celia’s countenance suddenly took on a note of smugness, as if she had been reminded of something. She purposefully murmured as she cocked he

Celia was surprised to see Fay come so quickly. After a moment of astonished incredulity, she snapped out of it and looked across at her. She discovered that Fay was dressed simply in a light blue dress and had no additional jewelry on except for a modest necklace around her neck.Celia felt self-conscious about her appearance because it didn't lessen the beauty of her face."But what about it? Aren't you still so miserable that you dress in such a basic yet sophisticated attire, regardless of how attractive you are?" Celia pondered, and her expression slowly changed to one of disdain. She said again, "Miss Roy, are you deliberately hiding in this deserted place because you're worried about being outdone by the wealthy ladies in the hall?"Fay smiled a little. “Miss Thame, aren't you also present? Does that imply that you come here specifically to conceal because you're also worried?”“Is that likely, in your opinion? Today, I am the major character.” Celia confidently raised her chin

Fay sighed and replied, "I've been busy with the company's affairs recently, and I truly can't spare any time." "You're gifted in medicine. If you don't take advantage of this chance to learn from me, you will be a wasted talent when I am unable to teach in the future." Bush thought that would be very unfortunate, and he let out a heavy, regretful sigh. "I've finally found a promising student, but it turns out that she is unwilling to learn," he grumbled to himself. What ought I to do? As soon as Fay saw his gray hair and sad expression, her heart could no longer stand it. She touched his shoulder and extended her small hand. “Don't be depressed, please. Okay, I swear I'll do all in my power to find the time to study medicine under your tutelage.”She consented, but as soon as she did, she suddenly had headaches. To be honest, she had little interest in medicine. She once went to the doctor with her father when she was quite young. She was fascinated by the doctor at the time, so sh

"You expect me to apologize to you, even though I'm your elder? Do you really believe that's possible?” Lara was obviously upset as she stood with her hands on her hips and her chest heaving. “You constantly accuse me of being disrespectful and unfilial," Fay shot back with a shrug. “However, it appears that your own notion of filial piety is equally naive. In such an important situation, you won't even offer a simple apology. How does that describe you? That indicates your lack of concern for Madam Ward’s welfare, doesn't it? If word gets out, how will the Ward family view you as their daughter-in-law?”"You..." Lara’s face flushed because she was so angry. She was at a loss for words to counter Fay, and she felt completely powerless. She turned to face Teddy, sobbing and slapping her thigh in exasperation. “Just have a peek at her, Teddy! This is how the ostensibly amazing woman you married really is! Now look at how she's treating me! If you don't defend me, she won’t learn to resp

Teddy ate in silence at the table at Ward Manor that night. Lara, meanwhile, kept thinking about her run-in with Fay at Golden earlier that day, and the more she considered it, the more irate she felt."Ted, that Fay is getting more and more crazy," she added. “I'm glad you've already separated from her. If not, you have no idea how much difficulty she would cause you. I'm not sure who she was able to win over, but she resides at Golden premium villa No. 9. How is it possible for someone so obscene and despicable to be entitled to such a luxurious residence?”Teddy paid little attention to Lara’s other words. All he could think of was that Fay was residing in Villa No. 9. Then he unconsciously tightened his hold on the fork and scowled a little. "Mom, did you really see Fay entering Villa No. 9? "Inquiringly, he queried. "Obviously, I witnessed it firsthand. If I didn't, I wouldn't tell you! That woman—“Teddy had already lost interest in Lara’s rambling. "Is Fay really willing to s

Francis gave her a card. "There's two hundred million dollars in here, it's kind of an allowance I'm giving you as a brother," he remarked with a smile. Fay gave him a joyful hug. She drove over in the cheapest Benz from the garage after obtaining the villa key in order to maintain a low profile. "Miss, I have never seen you around here," the security guard said as she reached the gate. “Before entering, please go outside and confirm your identity."“Alright." Fay got out of the car, grabbed her access card from her bag, and was about to tap it on the scanner when she heard a voice that was both familiar and sarcastic. "Well, isn't this Fay, the gold digger? What are you doing here? Come on, this is Blu City's famously wealthy neighborhood, Golden. Do you truly believe that someone as impoverished as you should be admitted?”It was a mocking voice. When Fay looked around, she saw Lara Ward, her former mother-in-law, with a contemptuous and piercing expression. Lara had never been
