Mag-log in"What is she doing this time?" Jill asked, frowning as Fay moved away to make a phone call.
"I guess she is embarrassed and wants to pretend to make phone calls and leave in despair," Celia grumbled.
Jill gave a nod of consent. "I suppose so. We have VIP cards, so she can do whatever she wants. We own the tie.”
Fay ended the call and returned while they were conversing. The store manager hurried outside and grabbed the salesman's tie right away.
Waiting for the store manager to compliment her, Celia lifted her chin. The manager suddenly bowed to Fay with a courteous turn of his head.
“Our supervisor has given me an explanation of the circumstances, Miss Roy. I'll immediately pack up the tie."
Francis, Fay’s brother, was the manager's supervisor. In reality, the Roy family owned the store.
Fay didn't anticipate meeting Celia and Jill; all she wanted to do was buy Francis a tie as a surprise. Because of her pregnancy, she didn’t want to argue with Celia, but now it has gotten to this.
The manager's statements caused Celia’s face to freeze. Her smile slowly faded from her face.
"Pardon me. We’re a VIP client. Why are you selling Miss Roy this tie? She can't afford to buy the tie!" Jill added in a displeased tone.
With an apologetic look, the manager said, "I apologize, ma'am. My supervisor has asked that the public not be able to purchase this tie. Ms. Roy will be the owner of it.”
At that moment, the manager looked back at Fay. "Miss Roy, please come here and wait in the rest area while I pack it for you."
"Okay." Fay cast a sidelong glance toward Jill and Celia. She then cautiously trailed the manager to the front desk. She returned with the packed tie a few minutes later. She grinned and waved it at Jill and Celia.
“Nothing worthwhile is ever simple for someone like you to accept, Miss Thame. I don't want any items that you can steal."
"You're a bitch! Have the audacity to call Teddy a jerk?”
“I didn't say that, is that your opinion of Teddy?" scoffed Fay. Her eyes landed on Celia’s lower abdomen as she spoke. “In addition, you are expecting a child. You should be an excellent role model for your child. If not, the infant will emulate its mother and enjoy stealing other people's belongings. Our society will suffer too much from it.” She then hummed a tune and left the store holding the tie in a relaxed manner.
"Have you heard her words? I want to rip her mouth apart,” Jill’s expression grew gloomy. She wanted to run over and give Fay a slap.
Celia extended her hand to stop her even though she was furious as well. "Ignore it. It's only a tie, Jill. Miss Roy desires it. So let her have it. However, I'm interested in her relationship with this store's owner.”
"What might it be? You can picture it.”
Jill spoke in a disgusted tone. "Fay is ugly, but has a nice body and curve. Who knows if she didn’t seduce the owner? She should be ashamed!"
"I don’t think so. She doesn't appear to be that type of person.” Celia responded, purposely making Jill more angry.
"Why is it not feasible? You're gullible. She's just like too many women I've seen. To accomplish their objectives, they seduces men.”
After taking Celia’s hand, Jill left.
Celia pulled up her cell phone and contacted Teddy as soon as she arrived at the car. "Ted, guess who I met in the mall today?"
Teddy asked apathetically as he flipped through some papers, "Who?"
"It's Miss Roy," said Celia. “She's doing so well since the divorce that you won't believe it. Without giving it a second thought, she just purchased a tie worth $2,000. It appears that I was mistaken when I worried that she would struggle without you.”
Teddy thought. "A tie? What makes Fay purchase a tie? Is she purchasing it for a man? He stopped leafing through the papers, and his eyes grew gloomy. "And then what?"
Celia responded with an exaggerated sigh, "I was also interested in that tie. I wanted to purchase it for you. Miss Roy, however, refused to move. She ultimately purchased the tie after she called the store's owner, who defended her. I heard from Jill that the store owner is really old," she said and pausing.
“After your divorce, is it possible that Miss Roy has lost herself? She is still very young, and her entire life could be destroyed if she keeps acting in this way."
Fay dating an old man now?
Hearing this, Teddy was reminded of the time he had seen Fay leaning lovingly against Francis at the bar. His visage became even more rigid, and he uncontrollably tightened his hold on the phone.
He was unsure of the source of this mild discomfort. He already divorced Fay, though. She is no longer a concern for him.
After thinking that, he slowly relaxed his hold on the phone, and when he spoke again, his voice was unusually emotionless. "We're already apart," he added. “Her actions now don't affect me in any way. Therefore, please don't bring her up to me once more."
Celia was ecstatic and couldn't help but grin slightly. Now that she had accomplished her objective, she made the sensible decision to stop. "All right. I'll let you resume your work. Don't worry about me; I'm heading home right now."
Teddy curtly responded, "Alright," and ended the call.
Despite his seeming composure, his thoughts were racing. For an odd reason, his unexplained uneasiness and discomfort were exacerbated by pictures of Fay having sex with the old man. After that, he was unable to focus on his work.
He scowled and took slow steps out the door.

Meanwhile, Fay went back home and gave Francis the tie she had picked out with care. She grinned. "Fran, this is a gift I specifically picked for you, for your successful project."
After accepting the tie, Francis ran his fingers over it tenderly. "You've grown quite considerate, Faye. I am genuinely moved. You've shown me such kindness. Thanks.”
"Don’t mention,” Fay said. "Fran, why don't you try it on?" she said after noticing that he hadn't put the tie on. What if you don't like it?”
"That is not necessary. Fay, I respect your taste.” Francis gently touched the knot once more. "I'll save it for the day when our company hosts a celebration dinner," he remarked, grinning as he looked up. “You can assist me in putting it on yourself."
"Sure," Fay responded, patting his shoulder.
"Your office is quite far from home, and I know it can be a hassle for you to drive that far," Francis said, setting down the tie and picking up a key from the table. “I'm going to show you Golden building. After work, you can relax there, and on the weekends, you can return to return home."
‘The Golden building is the largest villa, and Francis just gave it to me just like that, I get the best treatment from my family’ she thought.
With gratitude, she murmured, "Thank you, Fran."
Francis grinned broadly. "Here. Take this too.”
The manager straightened his posture and gave Nina a harsh look. “The Roy Group owns our hotel, and I think everyone in this room is aware of Roy Group's standing in Blu City. To us, these two bottles of wine are insignificant.Do you believe that the Roy Group was unable to pay for them? Why should we get fake when we are capable of buying it?”Nina was immediately afraid when she heard the manager bring up the Roy Group. Recently, she and Tom were negotiating a big deal with the Roy Group. Because it may give them a bad reputation, they thus couldn't afford to make a scene in one of their hotels. She had to swallow her pride after giving it some thought."Yes, the Roy Group is capable. I forget to say that, did I?” Fay responded. “I still don’t believe that Faye can afford such a pricey wine despite her unattractive appearance. This has to be fake. I mean just look her, does she look like someone who can buy even one bottle not to talk of there?” Tom asked.Without going into additi
"All right, I'll do it. Are you certain I wouldn't dare?" With a look at her, Nina snatched her phone out of her pocket and dialed 911. "We're all classmates, Nina. Faye doesn't need to have it difficult,” The once class monitor moved up to arbitrate, softly saying, "Just put your phone away." Nina gazed at the class monitor with a deep, disappointed expression. “She is dressed like a beggar, as you can see. She cannot possibly come up with this $80,000 all at once. Why do you continue to support her?”The class monitor, who was somewhat embarrassed by Nina’s serious demeanor, muttered in a voice that only the two of them could hear. "That's sufficient. You don't have any proof. What would you say if you called the cops directly and they showed up and asked for prove?”After a brief period of hesitation, Nina concluded that the class monitor's remarks did make some sense. "You're correct. Then I won't make a police call." She wouldn't let Fay go that lightly, though. With these id
Fay took a step back, pulled her hand away, and examined the bottle of Louis XIII that had been given to her. "You bought it, so you open it, not me." Nina walked over to her and kept trying to give her the Louis XIII bottle. "Faye, hurry up! Everyone is anticipating your opening of this bottle of wine. You truly want to make us look foolish, don't you?”Tom and Mina joined in as well. "Just open it, Faye. Hurry up!""Everyone is still waiting, so hurry up and open it." Some of their classmates who were anxious to watch some drama started to speak up as they pushed her. "Faye, just open it. Everybody wants to taste this new Louis XII's flavor.”Vaguely aware of Nina’s intentions, Fay scowled. But before she could think any longer, Nina took advantage of the brief attention to shove the Louis XIII bottle into her palm. The wine bottle almost slipped through her fingers before she could respond. She reached for the bottle out of instinct, but it was too late. There was a loud "bang" s
Mina approached Fay and Nina, and she looked scornfully at Fay with mocking eyes. "You already receive a compliment and some respect when you are referred to be the campus belle. You have no right to agitate Nina.“"Nina enjoys the finest luxuries with me, driving Ferraris and Lamborghinis casually," Tom said with a sneer as he instinctively threw his arms around her shoulders. “Regarding you..." He purposely stopped and gave Fay a disdainful, up-and-down stare. "Do you regret not agreeing to be together with me back then?" Fay couldn't contain her laughs. "Narcissism is a sickness that requires medical attention! Your appearance suggests that you are severely affected by it. I suggest that you get checked out as soon as possible at the hospital. Delaying it for too long could make your problem worse.”“You.." Tom’s expression clouded abruptly. He wanted to respond, but Nina cut him off. Speaking in a voice only they could hear, she leaned in closer to him. "Slow down. Do you no long
"Did Fay take the cab? Really?" Nina stood on her tiptoes, looking about with a mischievous thrill in her eyes. "Where is she? Where is she?" Fay had always been better than her in school. In addition to leading a horrible existence, Fay was now so impoverished that she had to come through a public cab. This was simply too good! She shouldn't be the only one enjoying such a fantastic display! All of her classmates and Tom had to be called in to see it. "There, didn't you see?" Once more, Mina gestured toward Fay. Repressing her eagerness, Nina followed Mina’s eyes. As expected, she noticed Fay approaching them while wearing a simple white shirt and pants. She wore no makeup on her face and was wearing regular clothes. There was only one term that could adequately characterize her current condition, despite the fact that she looked even more stunning than she had at university: destitute! Nina turned to Mina at her side and smiled, saying, "Go and tell Tom to bring everyone ove
Teddy was analyzing documents in the Ward study. His tall form was highlighted by a shadow cast from the side by the faint light. Suddenly there was a knocking sound. Teddy paused his page flipping and said toward the door, "Come in.”Holding a document that needed to be signed, Hector opened the door and entered. "The finance department sent you this document, Mr. Ward. It requires your consent, they stated.”“Okay."Quickly scanning the document, Teddy signed his name at the bottom. "Done." Hector handed it to him and added, "Mr. Ward, Mr. Fuller from Fez Construction Company invites you to have dinner at Diamond Restaurant tomorrow evening at eight o'clock to discuss matters regarding the suburban project."Teddy nodded, "Okay." Hector gave a small nod. "Alright, I'll reply to Mr. Fuller immediately."Teddy said, "Hmm," and lowered his head to resume concentrating on the papers. ***At the Golden building the following day.
