Francis gave her a card. "There's two hundred million dollars in here, it's kind of an allowance I'm giving you as a brother," he remarked with a smile.

Fay gave him a joyful hug. She drove over in the cheapest Benz from the garage after obtaining the villa key in order to maintain a low profile.

"Miss, I have never seen you around here," the security guard said as she reached the gate. “Before entering, please go outside and confirm your identity."

“Alright." Fay got out of the car, grabbed her access card from her bag, and was about to tap it on the scanner when she heard a voice that was both familiar and sarcastic.

"Well, isn't this Fay, the gold digger? What are you doing here? Come on, this is Blu City's famously wealthy neighborhood, Golden. Do you truly believe that someone as impoverished as you should be admitted?”

It was a mocking voice. When Fay looked around, she saw Lara Ward, her former mother-in-law, with a contemptuous and piercing expression.

Lara had never been friendly to her since she married Teddy. Fay had previously put up with Lara’s abuse and hurtful remarks in order to be with Teddy. But now there was nothing left for her to put up with.

"Well, now that I'm here, I obviously have the right to enter," Fay shot back. “But does it really matter to you if I enter or not? You appear to have a lot of spare time these days and are constantly interfering in other people's affairs." Her caustic comment clearly annoyed Lara.

"You... I've always known that your obedient and kind manner was a façade. Thank god you’ve were divorced my son, Teddy. If not, we have no idea how long your fake façade will fool us.”

"Oh, so you were aware that Teddy and I had already split up? So why do you continue to interfere in my affairs? You seem to have far too much free time.” Fay smirked as she met Lara’s hostile gaze with her arms crossed.

"You have truly been underestimated by me. I didn't realize you had such a harsh tongue,”

"I know her very well," Lara said, turning to the security man after realizing she couldn't outtalk Fay. “She must be up to no good for coming into this posh neighborhood! My belongings would always disappear while she was in my house. Do you think you can make up for the resident's losses if you don't stop her from entering now and they lose something and blame you for it?

There is no denying that the people who live in Golden are powerful or affluent, and many of their belongings are priceless. It would be disastrous if something actually disappeared.”

The security guard pondered and gave Fay a suspicious glance. He said it strongly. "Miss, you are only permitted to enter if you are a real resident. Outsiders are not allowed. Please leave right away, or I'll have to apply some severe punishment."

"Who says I don't live here? Who declares me to be an outsider?” Fay tapped her access card at the entrance's access system after passing the security guard.

With contempt in her eyes, Lara raised her chin, eager to watch Fay make a fool of herself. To everyone's astonishment, however, the gate system access system opened and beeped!

"Why... Why do you have the access card for this place?" Lara asked, her eyes widening in shock as she turned to face Fay.

"Can I go in now?" Fay asked the security guard, ignoring her.

"Of course, you can," the security guard said with a terrified grimace as he suddenly snapped out of it.

“I didn't expect this young lady to be a legitimate homeowner here," he thought anxiously. “I hope she wasn't offended by what I did just now. What if this causes me to lose my job?”

Fay, however, ignored the security guard. Rather, she climbed into her vehicle and drove directly into it.

Lara, meanwhile, gazed in shock at Fay’s leaving taillights. "That pauper actually has an access card for this place," she thought bitterly. Could she be employed as a maid or something? This made Lara want to follow Fay and find out for herself!

After pulling out her access card and tapping it, Lara quickly followed Fay as the gate opened. However, after pursuing her for some time, she was unable to locate her, much less catch up to her.

"It's okay. In any case, I frequently visit this place. One day, I'll catch that little brat!" With a sinister murmur, Lara turned to go toward Villa No. 15. But just as she was ready to walk away, she heard a door open.

When she turned to face the sound, he noticed that Villa No. 9 was the source. The largest villa in Golden was Villa No. 9. Money was not enough to purchase this unique home. They ended up with Villa No. 15 when Teddy failed to purchase villa 9 at an auction.

"Whoever resides in Villa premium is undoubtedly not your typical individual. In order to build cordial ties with my neighbors, I should go over and introduce myself. Who knows, maybe it will help Teddy’s business later on.” Grinning, Lara trotted over, ready to introduce herself. But as soon as she saw who was leaving Villa No. 9, her smile vanished.

Her  expression changed from one of warmth to one of intense disdain. "Why is it you?"

Fay just glanced at her.  Without saying anything, she just tossed the trash and went back inside.

This condescending demeanor did not sit well with Lara. Refusing to give up, she accelerated her speed. "What? Are you at a loss for words? You heard me, didn't you? Do you respect your elders this way?”

There was a spark of cunning in Fay’s eyes as she grinned. The door slammed loudly in Lara’s face as she approached.

"Ahh!" Lara barely escaped being struck by the door. If she hadn't retreated in time, she would have suffered severe injuries. She was furious and thought, "Fay, you bitch and gold digger, how dare you treat me like this?"

She became enraged. She shouted through the closed door while standing with her hands on her hips, "Fay, you bitch! Having a daughter-in-law like you must have been a curse for my family! Your actual nature is now coming to light now that you and my son are no longer together, isn't it? I should really bring my son to witness your evil deeds! I won't allow you get away with it if you don't come out and apologize to me in person! Get out of hiding there. Now come out here!"

Until Fay emerged, Lara persisted in berating her while hammering on the door. Fay could still hear Lara’s constant pounding despite the villa's superior soundproofing.

Fay was unable to enjoy her TV show because of the loud noise. Then she slowly rose from the couch, plugged in Francis tens of thousands of dollar headphones, and cranked up the volume on her television program.

"Ah, finally, I can't hear any of that noise anymore," she thought joyfully.

Excellent!

Lara kicked the door in exasperation as she continued to swear at it and became more and more irritated with Fay’s refusal to come out.

"Shameless little bitch, just you wait and see!"
