Chapter 8

Elise's pov;

While Brian and I were travelling on the bus, I asked him, “Do you like travelling by bus?”

He nodded saying, “Yes. But I don't get a chance to get on a bus since dad always picks me up from school.” “I only get a chance when the school gets over quickly.”

“That's fine. But since you're not old enough to travel alone, wait until you turn ten or eleven, okay?” “And, it's dangerous to travel alone with your age.”

When his smile fainted on his lips, I said, “I can take you on the bus if you want to.” When he looked at me, I continued, “Because I think I'm old enough to take you on the bus. And Mr Alarcon won't be against this either.” And smiled at him.

He gave me a smile and enjoyed looking outside the window.

When the trip ended, we two came to Mr Alarcon's house. When I entered, I saw Mr Alarcon in the centre of the house. Didn't he say he's going on a business trip? What is he doing here?

When I tried to go upstairs, Mr Alarcon said, “Hold on. I have to talk with you.
