G: I wanna take you out on a date tonight.
G: I want you to come and spend time with me in my home.
Delilah’s face turned pink once she saw the messages from G. She hasn’t even known him that much yet and he wanted to take her home already?
Damn! He hasn’t even told her his name yet.
“Who is it?” Monica quickly peeked through her phone, but Delilah was quick enough to steer away the phone from her.
“No one,” Delilah lied bluntly, taking a step away from Monica and rushing out of the room despite Monica’s attempts of calling her.
“Hey,” Delilah put the phone to her ear and ambled upstairs to the rooftop.
“Hey, did you reach home?” Stacy’s voice was very cheerful whenever she spoke to Delilah,
“Did you eat something? You better not starve yourself, okay? This body shape of yours has been just worth watching,” Stacy showered her with compliments to boost her confidence, or Delilah thought so.
“Yes, I did and I will eat something really quick but there is an emergency,” Delilah mumbled very nervously, biting her lips.
“What, what happened?” Stacy sounded worried about what Delilah had to say.
“Remember that guy who swiped me right?” Delilah waited for Stacy’s response, and after Stacy confirmed she does, Delilah continued, “He wants me to come over to his home tonight.” Delilah pronounced to Stacy, who didn’t seem to be very amazed or shocked by it.
“Then do it, go meet him,” Stacy responded like it wasn’t a big deal. She didn’t even focus or think twice over what she was asking Delilah to do so carelessly.
“But I don’t even know him, I don’t even know his name or have seen his face.” Delilah’s concern has been on just but Stacy didn’t care. She was well aware of the dangers of these dating apps, but Stacy just wanted something to gossip about the next day.
“It's fine, he is serious about you, that’s why he wants to take you home. Don’t blow up this chance, oh my God! I’m so jealous of you.” Stacy knew what she was doing. If only Delilah had talked to Monica instead of Stacy.
“So, I should go?” Delilah asked once again.
“Yes, listen, wear a---,” Stacy looked around her room and found a poster of Cinderella, “A blue gown.” She giggled inside at the thought of Delilah in a Cinderella gown.
“Really? Wouldn’t it be too much for a first date and he is only taking me to his home,” Delilah questioned Stacy’s suggestion since wearing a blue gown would be too much she thought.
“That works, it’s a way to tell the guy that you are the princess and he better treat you well.” Stacy was too happy with herself for distracting an innocent virgin, who hadn’t lost her virginity and could get in trouble with this stranger, who God knows what his intentions are for Delilah.
“Oh! I was so scared. Thank you so much, Stacy, I am so happy I got you.” Delilah cheered at the thought of meeting what might be her prince charming.
“Don’t worry, there is nothing to be afraid of. Go live your beautiful life.” Stacy faked a sweet tone and hung up almost immediately once she lost interest in Delilah’s chatter.
As Delilah made up her mind to go get a gown by using her savings and get ready for the date tonight, on the other hand, Clynt’s villa was getting decorated for the evening ball.
Every year, the evening ball was organized by Howard Clynt for his grandson, Dallin, to find his mate secretly from the eyes of the humans. The preparations were at rise, every rich person was excited to enjoy their time. The evening Ball by the Clynts was the fanciest event these billionaires could get to attend.
"What did you say?" Dallin raised his brow and asked in his deep, raspy voice while a man worked on his suit. In front of him was a huge mirror, in the reflection of which he could suspiciously stare at his grandpa.
"I said, she will be wearing a blue gown." Howard was tired of repeating himself in front of his grandson only to get ridiculed by him.
"And that's all we know about this powerful, she-wolf?" Dallin couldn't help but laugh at his grandfather's credulity over this girl that they knew nothing about.
"Just trust me, I've seen her scar." In his defense, grandpa mumbled while adjusting himself on the couch.
"Make this tighter," Dallin whispered to the designer, who was watching his tailor adjusting some clothes with pins on Dallin to make a perfect suit for him in less than a few hours, "You do know there will be many girls wearing blue gowns in the evening ball, right?" Dallin had a point, his grandfather should have known this could be highly dangerous for Dallin to go up to any girl and make a conversation with her, and later it turns out she is a human girl.
"That's why in the invites, I specifically mentioned that nobody is allowed to wear a blue gown." Howard, who was the only one to stay in contact with this mysterious girl, announced.
"Yeah! Right!" Dallin responded skeptically. The grandpa and grandson were pretty close, but Dallin's habit of always questioning Howard's plan would usually lead to a heated brawl.
Not visibly showing the interest in finding a mate after falling for the wrong girls over the years, Dallin in his heart kind of wanted it to work. He was tired of always getting any girl to his bed without facing any hurdles or rejections. Not to mention, due to his looks and him being a CEO of such a big company, no girl ever declined him.
And after the girl spent one night in his bed, she would immediately beg for more. He wanted a thrill in his love life, a girl who he feels like chasing and not the other way around.
He was ready to meet this mysterious, powerful she-wolf in the evening ball, who can boss him around even when he doesn't like it.
Everyone's life was headed towards a change that day. While the Clynts were excited about the evening ball, Delilah had not stopped blushing over the fact that she was going to meet Mr. G for the first time.
She had managed to arrange a blue gown for the date, sadly, which meant she had to struggle hard to pay this month's rent.
Keeping things hush hush from her once best friend Monica, Delilah felt like it was the right decision or Monica would have ruined everything for her by questioning her too much.
G: Don't worry, you will see me today and you will love me.
Delilah giggled at his text of wanting her to love him. She was excited for the evening, her only issue was Monica, who seemed to be getting ready to go meet her mother.
Once Monica had left the room, Delilah swiftly got started on getting dressed up for her first-ever date.
She wore the pretty blue gown, looking perfect, maybe if she had given a few more days she had shed off some more weight because even when Stacy had been complimenting her for losing weight, she still couldn't fit in her clothes from months ago like she had gained extra pounds, Delilah thought.
As Stacy had advised her, Delilah wore red lipstick and curled her beautiful long hair to meet the guy from her dreams, who she has no idea what to call besides the alphabet G.
She took a cab to the address he gave her, without questioning anything to not make him uncomfortable into thinking she was judging him.
As Delilah was on her way to the address, she found out that it led her to a cabin in the woods.
Weirded out about the choice for a meeting spot, she paid for the cab and quickly dialed Stacy's number.
"It’s a Cabin in the woods Stacy." her voice was shaky, she could see the Cabin from the distance she was standing at.
"It's so romantic, he must be rich," Stacy played with her hair, keeping Delilah's call on speaker for everyone she was having a sleepover with to giggle at Delilah's stupidity.
"So, it's fine?" Delilah wasn't sure herself. She has never been on dates and this place, surely wasn't very ideal for a first date.
"Yes, girl! Stop being so scared." Stacy rolled her eyes and shook her head.
After Delilah cut the call with Stacy, she walked up to the door, and before she could knock, he opened the door for her.
She didn’t expect him to look like this, her eyes widened at the guy standing in front of her. She gulped to mumble something but her words were stuck in her throat."Hey! I was waiting for you," Dallin greeted in his beautiful voice. He looked like a prince charming in a black tux, gray wool tuxedo vest, and a tie.His beautiful smile shone as his eyes changed the colors to bright red mixed with yellow stripes."Don't show your powers in the middle of the thousand guests." Howard, who was watching Dallin prepare himself for the past few minutes in the huge Cheval mirror, interrupted when Dallin showed his hybrid side in a flash."I thought you said we will be sure it's the she-wolf when we see her blue gown," Dallin complained, purposely raising points to annoy his grandpa."I can't deal with you anymore. Can you come and greet the guests now, she might be on her way?” Howard's statement after giving a stroke to his chin made its way to Dallin, who didn’t care what his grandpa just said to him.Howard met this girl through a vampire friend of his. After exchanging numbers with her, Howard constantl
Delilah knew crying won’t help her, the moment he reached her and grabbed her arm, she lifted her knee, and sadly, she couldn’t lift her knee to his crotch. She should have listened to her friend and start working out. Now that she was drugged up, she knew she had to do anything to get away from him before her mind and gives up on her."You wanted to hurt the hunter?" he raised his brow, confusing her more by calling himself Hunter.“Hahaha! You fat pig thought you coul---,” he laughed, and then suddenly, Delilah lifted her knee again and this time she kicked him right in his nuts with all the force she could gather. His eyes rolled back in his head and his face turned red, “You bi***,” He grunted, slowly dropping on his back. This was her time to make an attempt to leave this crazy person’s cabin. She dipped out of the room even when he was calling after her. She had to leave quickly, she ran downstairs and picked
“Here!” Dallin opened the bottle and lifted the cup, only to get shocked when Delilah snatched the whole bottle out of his hands.“Umm, are you sure?” Dallin side-eyed Delilah for chugging the bottle like she had no care in the world. Dallin picked the other bottle and followed her act by chugging the wine down his throat. Now that they were officially wasted and horny, they laid down on the mattress again.“Do you think people live on these stars?” the night was still young and so were they. Delilah had her finger pointing at the sky as she asked Dallin.“I don’t know, aren’t there Aliens living there?” he tilted his head to himself, accompanying Delilah into watching the stars.“Oh! I thought they are on earth now.” She pouted sadly, “can we go live on stars?” she questioned very innocently and turned her face to him.“We can!” Dallin had never
"Would you tell me where the heck did you spend your whole night?" Monica kept tailing Delilah ever since she stepped inside her apartment.Delilah looked for a charger and plugged it in, completely ignoring Monica, who stood behind her with her hands on her hips."Where were you?" Monica repeated herself very furiously. Delilah couldn't tell Monica how her date drugged her last night.Monica didn't like this new change in Delilah. She thought Delilah hadn't fully understood the dangers of the world to believe in strangers already."Can you give me some space," Delilah eyed Monica to leave her alone, she was dying to talk to Stacy and tell her everything about last night. Maybe Stacy will be able to help her with that Guz guy as well, since it wasn't normal what he tried to do to her."Delilah!" Monica tried to get her attention, but Delilah stormed inside the bathroom to take a quick shower. A lot happened in one night, and she wasn't ready
“How?” she whispered to herself, he helped her get back on her feet and then looked away sadly. Why did she bump on him? what would he be thinking of her now that he can see her in daylight?“Dallin!” she uttered his name in her mouth, not believing he had found her when she thought he would never try to look for her ever again, could be a coincidence. It took him a minute to respond after filling her face in his eyes. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the side, in an empty street.“How did you find me?” She asked once she found him standing in front of her with his arms crossed on his white suit and watching her without blinking his eyes.“Why, you really thought I wouldn’t be able to find you?” he wanted to yell at her, be mad at her, but the way she looked at him made him retract.“I mean; I knew you wouldn’t want to.” She whispered and lowered her head, holding her
The next day, Delilah hesitated to go to college. With time to spare, she took a morning jog determinedly to take her health seriously. Now that she knew all the praising and compliment Stacy used to fill her mind with were nothing but fibs to make a fool out of her, Delilah agreed that she had not lost weight, even, had gained more. She was very well aware of the treatment she was going to receive at the college that day, but skipping a day wasn't going to help either even when she desperately wanted to do that. Her legs had given up on her after running for a few minutes only. It really was a mystery to her that how people could run a mile.Breathing profusely and drenched in her own sweat, she crawled back to her room, accepting her defeat."I can't start hard, I should first focus on reducing the consumption of bad food." she served the door after her and sat in her bed. The empty bed by the other side of the room was another reason she couldn't motivate hers
“You were drooling over her and so was she,” Delilah almost sounded like a mad ex-girlfriend. She had Dallin to her apartment, her room where her best friend once used to reside with her. “What! No! I see gorgeous girls every day, you think I will fall for everyone?” Dallin sits down on Monica’s bed, and rolls his eyes unbelievably. He thinks Delilah is crazy to blame him for such a thing. Yes! It was true that he looked at her twice, but she was gorgeous, there was no secret about it.“But---but you said you wanted to stand up for me,” Delilah’s tone changes, she felt bad for sounding so desperate. “Yeah! But you told me to let’s go.” Dallin has indulged himself in his phone, scrolling through Instagram, avoiding the conversation. She lowered her head and sat down like a stubborn child on her bed. She truly was accusing him with no evidence, he was her friend, he would not do her wrong by
“Really? You want me to come?” Delilah had to ask him twice to make sure she wasn’t hearing it wrong.“Yes! Why not, you are my friend.” Dallin had picked her up from her college to drop her home without worrying about the bus.“That’s wonderful, I would love to be there.” Delilah cheered merrily. “Actually, some of my grandpa’s friends are invited over and usually I get bored among those people, so, I thought if he can invite his friends, how about I invite mine?” Dallin’s words made Delilah blush secretly. She was beginning to think that Dallin was falling for her, but maybe he was a bit shy to express his feelings to her.“I will be honored to dine with you and your grandpa.” She whispered cheerfully. Things were all setting up nicely, Dallin cared for her and she knew, it wasn’t long that he would even fall for her. She has decided to wear a blue s
