Chap-5*The Perfect Mate*

Delilah knew crying won’t help her, the moment he reached her and grabbed her arm, she lifted her knee, and sadly, she couldn’t lift her knee to his crotch. She should have listened to her friend and start working out. Now that she was drugged up, she knew she had to do anything to get away from him before her mind and gives up on her.

"You wanted to hurt the hunter?" he raised his brow, confusing her more by calling himself Hunter.

“Hahaha! You fat pig thought you coul---,” he laughed, and then suddenly, Delilah lifted her knee again and this time she kicked him right in his nuts with all the force she could gather. His eyes rolled back in his head and his face turned red, “You bi***,” He grunted, slowly dropping on his back. This was her time to make an attempt to leave this crazy person’s cabin.

She dipped out of the room even when he was calling after her. She had to leave quickly, she ran downstairs and picked up her phone, but sadly, the battery was down. How the hell did the battery die? Dammit, she should have charged her phone.

There was no time to cry about it now, before she was able to reach the door, she saw Guz rushing down while holding his shirt and cussing loudly at her. Delilah made her way out of the cabin and started sprinting like a mad person. She was screaming as loudly as her throat could support and going in a direction unknown. She knew he was following her and all she wanted was to just get away from him at this point.

She made it to the road with Guz following too close to her. All this running made her feel like she must have lost some pounds and her trust in those dating apps. She ran on the road, hoping to find some help, and then she was finally able to see someone. A tall gigantic man, wearing a fancy tux was wandering on the road very calmly, having no fear of the psychos.

“Hey!!!!” she yelled, waving her hand in his direction. Behind him, she could see a huge villa with countless lights on. He was headed towards the villa; she has to get his attention before Guz could show up behind her.

"Hey, you tall guy!" she yelled again, this time rushing in his direction like a car with its breaks failed.

Dallin has started drinking under the pressure of not being able to meet his mate at the ball. He was pretty drunk by the time he decided to back into the villa after spending an hour on the road, drinking to calm his nerves down. He heard a girl yelling from behind him.

He turned around to see who was bothering his peace and he couldn't believe his eyes.

"The blue gown!" he whispered into his mouth, his eyes wide open and his lips parted in shock.

"Umm, what is goi--ng on?" he saw her running like a crazy girl, at this point, he was pretty wasted to conclude anything rationally. Was she running because she wanted to meet him so bad?

"Help me!" She shouted, just when she was about to reach him, she felt like she couldn't stop, did her brakes fail? "Oh no no no!" she waved both of her hands and yelled. Her body has begun to act up, it wasn't hard to realize the kind of drug Guz gave her excited her body.

Seeing her about to trip and face plant on the road, Dallin came forward and supported her by taking her in his arms.

The impact was so hard that Delilah thought she would knock down the dude on the road but Dallin didn't even budge.

Her face planted on his chest and he filled her in his arms very tightly, almost like choking her.

"Whe--shhhooood gwww ensssiiideeee!" she mumbled on his chest, her red lipstick leaving a mark on the gray tux vest but he didn't let her go. All his drunk mind could tell him was that he needed to mate.

"What?" he had his eyes closed as he rocked her in his arms, he had never felt so good before. Hugging her was so damn comfortable and soft.

"Inside!" she placed her palms on his chest and pushed her face up to breathe, "Inside!" she repeated herself.

Dallin raised his brow and smirked, "Not yet! you silly girl," he shook his head.

He let her go to finally analyze her face, he had to narrow his eyes to clear his vision in order to get a good glimpse of her face.

"My m--ate?" he felt the alcohol kicking in the worst way.

Delilah looked like she had just seen a ghost, the guy in front of her was truly breathtaking. Did she just get a hug from this hunk?

"Can ---we go somewhere private?" she tried to recall why she was running away like a mad person but her thinking was blocked by the drug by now.

"I--yeah!" he carelessly gave a shrug to his shoulder and gestured her to the villa.

He followed her silently inside the villa with her holding his hand and dragging him along to wherever she was headed to.

Delilah found it weird that this handsome, sexy man hugged her and even looked so pleased like he had been waiting for her.

"Where do we go?" she was panicking, all these rich people watching her were making her anxious along with the pill in her system.

Who were these people and what was going on here?

Delilah halted, letting go Dallin's hand, who seemed as lost as she was. He picked up another bottle of wine from the passing by the waiter and began chugging it down.

"Tell me where should we go!" she slapped him on his chest very playfully, shocking everyone around them. "TELL ME!" she yelled at him.

Dallin's smile faded away as he saw this girl, who was supposed to be his dream mate, so annoyed with him.

"Up! I mean rooftop!" he pointed his finger at the top. She grasped his wrist and started sprinting upstairs, making the bottle from his hand slip and shatter onto the floor.

Once they reached the rooftop, Delilah was shocked to see the preparations on the rooftop.

Dallin slowly walked ahead and laid on the mattress, his arms spread like he had no care in the world.

He had decorated the whole rooftop with white and blue balloons, there was a huge mattress placed in the middle and a very beautiful setting, done by Dallin.

"Do you like it?" he murmured while keeping his eyes shut. He did not care much about if she liked it or not, he only wanted to mate. He recalled how belittle his mother's side of the relatives made his grandfather feel when he was growing up.

When both of his parents died, his grandfather, after turning into a vampire, decided to visit Dallin's mother's family. They never liked the idea that in a family full of hybrids, there was one vampire raising their grandson. Dallin's mother belonged to the family of hybrids, who thought any supernatural being with only one powerful gene or power was not good enough to stand with them. The hate and their way of thinking were the reason that Howard fled away with Dallin to teach him about life by himself.

"Yes!" she whispered in her mouth and laid by his side. He opened his eyes and turned his face to her.

"I'm Dallin Clynt!" Dallin's lip lifted upward from one side, forming the sexiest smirk ever. She did notice the little details but her body craved for something more.

“I am Delilah Kipp,” she responded, her stare dropping down to his lips.

She scanned him from head to toe, he was so damn handsome. She had never seen someone so beautiful and perfect.

“You okay?” Dallin arched both of his brows and lowered his face, he was confused about what was going on with her. He too fought hard to keep his eyes strictly to her, but two young people, drunk, and in such a beautiful setting wouldn't think past anything but se*

“I am ju---st a bit nerv—ous.” Delilah, who had never had se* before, mumbled.

"We--we can drink --some wine." Dallin bit his lower lip and waited for her to bob her head. As she did, he walked downstairs, tripping his way out of the crowd to reach the bar.

“Oh, My God!” Delilah let go of a breath she was holding in to tuck her tummy in and sat down on the mattress, “Why is this that her body craves to sleep with this man?" Even though she was fully messed up in the head by the pills, she questioned herself.
