We drove to St. Johns shopping center. I remember with clarity now, the last time we both were in this same situation. It was on a Monday, it happened nearly two months ago. During that time, I was under my mothers influence. I was blind to the evil vixen hiding inside of her, the loving mother façade was all it was. I remember like it was yesterday, he came looking for me and we shopped here. That feels like a lifetime ago. As we walk through the stores, I muster up the courage to inquire with him if he would ever consider attending Cambridge or somewhere closer. I really want to make this work between us.
