The Great Sacrifice

It's been three days now, three days since the great sacrifice was done, three days since the Great Hybrid Eric Damian left the world, his soul sacrificed for that of his daughter Clara.

The heavens were still mourning over his death as the rain continued to pour down, flooding the streets of Great Hill Town.

Today is the day they finally put Eric Damian to rest, his ashes would be buried under the soil....

Knock, knock, knock.

“ Hold on, I am coming," Dr Ellen said, her voice weary and laden with sadness, as she heard a gentle knock on her door.

She was in the kitchen, weariness etched on her face, preparing breakfast for Clara and herself. Slowly, she made her way to the door and opened it.

She saw two people standing in front of her doorstep, their faces hidden beneath umbrellas, their presence shrouded in a veil of sorrow.

“ Good morning, Dr Ellen," Mathias greeted, his voice tinged with sadness.

“ Good morning, Dr Elle
