Bronwen
I do not even spare him a remark because honestly I am at a loss for words, so I merely push past him, jogging down the stairs. Thankfully it only takes us two trips to get everything loaded up. Noah walks us out and Alec gives him a manly hug, clapping him on the back. He stares at me and since everyone is around, I feel like I can't ignore him. Good manners make me thank him for letting us stay.
“Thank you, Noah, for letting us crash here,” I say, somewhat stiffly. I resolved to put my anger and hurt at Andras behind me and now I am doing the same with Noah. I am going to
Andras After Alec, Morana, and I get all the groceries and other purchases put away, I pull Morana to the side. “We need to tell them everything. Tonight.” She looks surprised and a little upset at the thought. “Tonight, but-” “You have mentioned many times that you want to tell Bronwen.” I remind her. She has been talking about it since she met her. She thinks that I need to tell her everything, including my little secret. The one
Bronwen “You ran.” He looks up at me, his big blue eyes full of accusation. “I'm sorry. You growled at me and I thought I did something wrong and you were going to attack me.” I say to him, remembering the fierce growl and look in his eyes. “I am so sorry for that. You touched me on my- never mind. I just lost control for a second. Then when you ran it was my instinct to get you back.” He says, staring up at me. I feel like he is t
BronwenNow that Andras has left me to go to his class after kissing me in the hall, I am opening my locker to take out my notebook when I hear the sound of high heels clicking on the tile of the floor. Giggles and strong perfume turn my stomach long before she reaches me. I hear her gossiping about me from where I stand. Damn, I hate her so much. “Can you believe that he would even be seen with that fat loser bitch?” I hear one of them say.
Bronwen I am lying curled into a ball on my bed later that afternoon when my door bursts open and Andras walks in. He takes in my tear-stained face and red, puffy eyes with a grimace. “I guess your little tryst wasn't as fun as you thought it would be, was it?” “Excuse me?” I ask him, sitting up in the bed, surprised. “When you left the school with Noah. What happened? Did Maci catch you two in the act? Or did he just not measure up
Noah After almost an hour, the police and the paramedics finally leave. The police have Maci in custody because she tried to kill Bronwen. They took mine and Bronwen's statements, having us sign some papers. I will never forget the terror that I felt when I rounded the corner, looking for Maci, only to find her choking Bron's limp body. Bronwen's face had been purple and her eyes were closed. At first I thought she was dead and I nearly passed out on the spot. I have never felt such relief as I did when I finally reached her and she moaned. I knew that she was alive and I have never been happier.
Bronwen “Okay. Now it is time for Project Truth. Come on, lay it on me.” Morana is sitting criss-cross-applesauce on my bed, bouncing with excitement, while I lean back against the headboard in resignation. “Okay.. where do you want me to start?” “Do it in order. So..?” She asks questioningly and I sigh. Great. She wants to discuss my sexual experiences in chronological order. Well, alphabetical order to since Andras comes before No
Bronwen “No- I mean, yes- I..” Andras rears back as if I have shocked him. I realize that I am stumbling over my words like an idiot. I shake my head. Fuck it! I give up trying to use words, since I am clearly having a problem with that right now, and simply grab Andras's face, pulling him into a passionate kiss. He groans against my lips and my hands fist in his hair. I open my mouth and he takes the hint, his tongue pushing through.
Andras"Ookkayyy... I don't really know what that means."I watch as her face shows no recognition at the word. I just see a look of blank confusion on her beautiful face and I let out a long sigh. Now comes the hard part. I have to try to explain the mate bond without her thinking that I am some kind of a damn loon. “Mate?” Bronwen repeats skeptically, to which I nod. We are already off to a bad start because judging by the look on h
