"Explaining the Reasons"

Tatum's POV:

I feel her body tense then relax and lean into me and my wolf growls in satisfaction. I open the passenger door and hold her hand as she gets in. I go to the driver's side of the car and take one last look out at the water before getting in. It's late afternoon and the already grey sky is getting dark.

"So out of curiosity where did you get this car? Is it something you just snapped your fingers and made appear?" I ask Luna as I steal a glance at her.

"No!"She says with a laugh.

"It was my dad's. When I came back I found some keys in his old office and when I went to the garage it was just sitting there. My father loved sports cars. He was always tinkering with something and on the weekends we'd go to the races."She replies with a distant smile.
