"Reconnecting"

Tatum's POV:

"Well I guess we should get some rest huh?" Luna says as she reaches for my hand.

I grab her hand and lead her into our bedroom and I try to calm my mind. We both get into bed as I turn off the bedside light. Luna and I lay there in silence with her as close as she can get to me. Our legs are entangled and she has her head rested on my arm as I stroke her long beautiful hair. One of her arms is wrapped tightly around me as if she's afraid I'm going to disappear. Her other hand rests gently under my head and I can feel her thumb rubbing my temple lightly.

At that moment I realized what she was doing. It was the same thing I had done many times at the office, at home or anywhere we were. She was recharging or reconnecting so to speak. Allowing our energies to connect and dispel all the negative chaos that had been growing within us over the p
