"Remembering the Past"

Tatum's POV:

  I feel my heart stop as I lay eyes on the large portrait in the hall. So those are her parents, I think to myself as unease slowly flows through me. I flash back to three years ago. I had just finished Law school and started working at my father's firm. My sister came by one afternoon after school so upset she was shaking. I remember hearing her yelling at our father through his office door.

"Daddy please! You have to do something!" She had shouted.

"Now honey. There's nothing I can do! I have to honor their wishes! We have a legally binding contract! My hands are tied here!" I remember him replying.

"You could at least find out who murdered them! Her parents were killed and now she's being punished! Why should she have to leave! It's not fair!"
