"The Proposal"
Luna's POV:
"Ladies and gentleman, I would first like to thank you for coming out tonight on such short notice. There are a few things I would like to announce before we all begin to eat." Tatum begins to speak.
"First I would like to announce that we have successfully expanded our clan reach in Asia and Africa." Tatum says as he motions towards a beautiful African woman with silver eyes and towards Kyle at the bar.
"It has been our pleasure." The woman says in a distinguished voice.
Kyle just lifts his glass in the air gesturing towards the young woman.
"Now the next few weeks will be crucial for the expansion. I will be reaching out to several of you who have underlings who have shown an interest in moving up in our ranks.

Luna's POV:The next two days are quiet and we spend our time lounging around the house and by the poolside. The day before Tatum has to leave he gets called to the office to go over some documents and plans for his upcoming business trip."So much for having three days of." Luna's POV:"Yes Titan?" Malcolm says with a kind expression."When were you going to tell me about our newest addition to the board?" Tatum says dryly."Ah well it's only been a week and I didn't think it would be a problem." Malcolm replies."Then why waste my time by having me attend this meeting as well?" Tatum growls as Malcolm begins to walk around the table towards him.Tatum's phone suddenly begins to ring and he quickly answers. Luna's POV:The next week seemed to fly by as plans for the new firm began to take shape and finalize. My magic was improving significantly and Angel had taught me many new things I didn't know I was even capable of doing. The power I was tapping into was invigorating and I had never felt more energized but despite every good feeling I was having I missed Tatum. We hadn't spoken since that day he left the office and no matter how badly I've wanted to message or call him I've resisted. I had asked Malcolm to approve a few documents after Tatum left again but after a few days of doing that Malcolm assured me that anything I passed in front of him was good and told me I no longer needed a prior approval for things. Luna's POV:I am almost back to the familiar clearing when I hear Malcolm howling in the distance signaling the end of their run. All the others howl in unison to confirm they are done and on the way back to the house as well. I waited a few moments then let out a low howl to let the others know I was close by but not quite done. A confirmation howl echoed back and I sat down in the middle of the forest looking through the tree line at the clearing ahead. Tatum's POV:I've been gone for several weeks at a time only getting to come home for a few days here and there. Once I had landed back in the states I remembered what this weekend was and I kicked myself for forgetting. Luna had helped me schedule the business trip so I had constantly asked myself if she wanted me around for her birthday. Kali had sent me multiple messages throughout the week taunting me and updating me on Luna and work but it was my mother who had dealt the final blow. Though I was raised in clan life there were still things I was learning about the union and having a mate with powers such as Luna's. Though no one else had noticed Luna's distraught state due to my continued absence my mother had noticed and gave me a warning. Though I had assured her I would be home within a week I had this dark feeling in the pit of my stomach.
