“Cassian! Cassian!” I cried, holding on tight to Ashleigh. He stood in front of us. He protected us.

“Go! Go, Sasha!” he ordered as he fell to the ground, and the wolf who emptied his gun was nowhere to be seen. But I picked his scent. Something I had tucked away and will come back to.
