I hope this is the beginning of the end. I love how well the business is doing, and I am surprised at how much I love being a boss, since I am not one at home. I would rather follow Maggie’s lead.

"Because it turns you on," my wolf Ewan joked.

Even after all these years, she did manage to turn me on. Especially when she told me what to do in the bedroom. But it wasn’t just that; it was nice not to have to think about certain things and to let Maggie handle them. Like this plan. She knew what needed to be done, and all I had to do was follow her plan. It made me less nervous knowing she was in charge.

I drove Alpha Braxton to the location that Maggie had told me to go, a warehouse that we sometimes used close to the border. That’s the only thing I had to do: get him there, and Alpha Asher and Luna Leia would do the rest.
