I woke up sweating. It’s almost evening. That dream. Mom, Dad, Jude, Joshua…they are in trouble. Where’s Iva? Iva wasn’t in the dream. I’m not in the dream either.

‘Joshua?’ I called out in the mind-link.

Nothing. Silence.

‘Mom?’

Once again, silence.

The hair on my neck is standing, and my scalp is tingling. ‘Iva? Are you there?’
