Opening my eyes, I realize I must have fallen asleep last night while I was sitting with Aiden and talking. He had told me about my mom and dad. But also about Zach and my other brother Xander. He told me a little about how broken and sad my mom had been after my kidnapping. But he also told me that my mom is pregnant after already having miscarried a few times.

He told me how he and my brothers had trained hard, so they could help look for me. He also told me he is the adopted son of my dad’s beta and that his birth parents are dead.

Looking around, I am inside the cave, and a pair of strong arms are wrapped around me. I know by the scent it’s Aiden and decides to just lay still for a bit. To my surprise, I feel very comfortable in his arms and know it must be the matebond that makes me so comfortable around him.
