I had spent most of the night staring at the ceiling , and I finally got out of bed at 5am deciding to go for a run . Having Jewel ignore me made me feel lonely for the first time since she came . Making her turn from our mate was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do . She just never understood why I didn't want a mate .

I had watched my father change after my mother died , he became the worst form of himself . To the outsiders he was the perfect single father . People would often tell me how lucky I was to have a great dad . No one saw the beatings i took or the mental torture i went through .
