The black flames oozing out of him were enough to tell the tale of chaos within him.

He was dying, burning in the flames of distress.

He needed his Sasha and there was no way back.

He slowly raised his head, his stare fixated right on Rayla. She visibly flinched and began to take steps backward, getting ready for a run to save her life.

"Get ready to pay." He growled like a wounded beast. Gently making his Sasha lay on the ground he slowly raised to his full height. She wasted no second to turn around and run as a spell left her lips in a barely whole word. Her lips shivered and her feet felt like they were on the verge of giving up.

She knew if he got her, she would perish.

Everything went according to the plan but the outcome was not what she expected it to be. She expected him to blame his good-for-nothing lover like he did back then but this time he saw right through her games.
