Chapter 1.2

The dinner soon ended, but the dread that the conversation might stir into something as chaotic as it were earlier still lingering. While the atmosphere was somehow lightened by the desert, the after-dinner family conversations will surely try to pry more on what had happened earlier… and a kid like me, won’t probably be able to sustain such heavy prosecution.

The large sala gradually become smaller. The chandelier-filed ceiling suddenly felt closer. And the well-lit room suddenly grew darker as each of my relatives entered the large sala hall. Goosebumps started to appear on my skin and then proud columns supporting the house felt like they are going to crash on me every second. I stared long at the ceiling, thinking of a way on how could I escape such disaster. But, I couldn’t.
