Riley

Riley peeked out of the plane window. The sky was vast and was clear blue. The land was very far from her reach. The silence that was crept in the first class of the plane made her think about a lot of things. She thought about her life in Italy for the past 3 months she has been back at home. It was an experience filled with nice and not so nice things, mostly the latter. She was at home but it didn’t feel like home. She was with her parents and brother, but it didn’t feel like family. She met with her childhood friends but she didn’t feel the connection. She felt like she had been taken to a different world. All the things she had seen and was familiar for most of her life felt so very foreign to her now.
