A commotion at the door drew our attention. Alpha Maxwell appeared with several more warriors, securing the remaining guards who had surrendered after seeing that Helena had been defeated.

"The facility is secure," he announced, his weathered face showing relief when he saw my brother standing beside me, our hands still connected. "Is this..."
