Creeds pov. 

Me, Jason and Ryan decided to eat before we went to the midnight dance club for our last stop of the night. We've been getting less and less enthusiastic the more places we go. We’re giving up hope that we’ll find our mates here. We finished up eating and paid our bill before we took our leave, we aren’t very far from the midnight dance club, I’m also the dragon king so I can just walk in without waiting like everyone else, one nice luxury. When we arrived I could swear I smelled something amazing, a mix of lavender and vanilla. My mate! 

‘Our mate creed she’s in there’ my dragon whispers to me

‘I know hunter , we’ll find her.’ 

We walk to the bar and sit down, I’m scanning everywhere trying to find the source of this smell.. when I look towards the doors I lock eyes with the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I can’t make out every feature or detail from this distance but she’s beautiful, I try to get up to follow her and talk to her, i don’t know why but I feel it’s important, when I get to the door and open it and go outside I can’t see her anywhere.. and now that I think of it her scent is completely gone. Fuck fuck fuck 

‘We need to come here now creed, she will come back eventually and I can’t miss the chance to be with her.’ Hunter growls. 

Everyday after that day for a week now I’ve been going back to the midnight club and I haven’t even caught the faintest whiff of her. I cannot stop thinking about her, she’s on my mind all day and it’s starting to make my job harder, I can’t concentrate on anything do to with my tribe. She’s a constant reminder of what I let go that night, my future. We will stop at nothing to find her, I don’t care what or who she is, a human for all I care, I just need my mate, the other half of my soul. All I want for my future is a family, a wife with as many fledglings she’d give me. 

Lilys pov. 

Fuck. He’s everything a woman would want, tall and muscular, perfect green eyes and blond hair, his straight nose and sharp jawline. He makes me want to drool, I’ve been coming to the midnight dance club for a week now, disguised as Chloe, watching him. He’s been looking for me every single time he comes, he sits at the bar and watches, waits. I don’t know if I can do this with him right now, with my father looking for me, I even left my mother to be safe. Sapphires been badgering me every single day multiple times about how he’s our fated mate, how he’s the one, we apparently need to lay our claim and take him now. I just can’t, I’m not ready. For the 7th late ass night now, I sigh and get ready to take my leave, I see Raya. And she’s walking up to none the less my mate. I sit there and watch her walk up to my mate, I strain my ears so I can hear what they are talking about. 

“Hey they.. long time no see creed..” damn creed, what a sexy name. 

“Rayali. “ creed says. Wtf, that’s her name?  

“So are you here with anyone tonight creed.. I’ve been feeling lonely lately.. I’ve also never done a dragon before” Raya says suductively. My heart starts racing, I cannot let her take him from me, without thinking I drop my identity and unblock my scent, the moment I do that I notice creed’s nostrils flare before whipping his head in my direction. I’m walking confidently towards them and notice creeds eyes are on me the whole time, Raya is still talking to him trying to get his attention but it’s futile, he pays no mind to her at all. When I get there raya finally notices something is up and turns her attention to me, she lets out a shocked gasp and her eyes are so wide it looks like they are gonna pop out of her sockets. 

“Well well well.” I say. 

Creeds pov. 

I’m here again. The midnight dance club. I know she’s here, I can feel it, someone’s been watching me all night, I can feel their eyes on me, their presence. I’m peacefully minding my business when rayali walks up to me, the worst person to come to me right now. She’s trying to get me to leave with her, I was about to say something to her when all of a sudden I could smell my mate. She’s here, is all I could think. I look in her direction and I’m not disappointed when I see the women, THE woman i can’t get off my mind. She’s walking confidently towards us with purpose, Damn if she could get any sexier. 

“Well well well” she says , she even sounds beautiful. 

“L-Lily!” Rayali sputters out, eyes looking like their gonna pop out of their socket. 

“H..how is this possible. I haven’t even heard from you, seen you or even heard anyone speak of you in over two years!” Rayali whispers. Lily is her name. Beautiful. I see Lily roll her eyes. 

Instead of answering her she turns to me and says. 

“Let’s go” my eyes go a little wider and I can feel my heartbeat speed up. 

“Okay” is all I say before getting up to follow her.
