Lily’s pov.

“You guys got this! You’ll be fine!” I say to my children as they get ready for their first shift.

“I don’t know, mom…” Juniper whispers nervously, biting her fingernails as she looks up at me, “I’m… scared.”

“I’m scared too!” Mazikeen and Athena said in unison, their faces pale as they stared at me.

“We’ll be fine!” Maddox chuckles and he hugs each one of his sisters tightly.

I smile at him, loving how caring and close they all are to each other.
