He growled.

Then the earth shook violently and the wind blew from a different direction at the same place in a twisting motion. Thunder echoed in the distance and lightning flashed which was soon followed by a heavy storm. Nature was restless and chaotic as if….

…as if something had disturbed the peace. As my gaze moved to Deus, an absurd thought crossed my mind. What if it wasn’t something but someone who has brought imbalance in nature?

“Grrrrrrrrrrr” He let out another powerful growl successfully installing fear in enemies’ heart.

Lancer hesitated for a second before he signalled his army to attack but no one made any move. They were scared, I could tell. When he shouted again reminding them I was the prize, only then did they strike.

Deus protectively pushed my small frame behind his massive one. This infuriated or rather embarrassed me. I was their Queen. However, that didn’t stop me from hiding behind someone’s back, seeking protection from the war that was being fought over me.
