CHAPTER 37

Lever's point of view

I was holding my head when I felt the pain in there. I could feel we were riding within the car so I immediately opened my eyes to see what was happening.

I rested deeply as I felt the pain of the wound in my legs. I looked where I was and there were three men I was within the car.

Suddenly I remembered what had happened earlier. The car is moving fast.

I looked at the man next to me in the backseat who was looking out the window. He opened the car window so I could see my father right away.

The man's gun was pointed at the car my father was riding in. I was surprised when he suddenly fired at the car. I looked behind us to see if the gunshot had hit my father.
