Chapter 32

Ryan was running, trying to put as much distance between himself and the vampires as possible, when the sounds of explosions reached his ears.

He stops and hides in the bushes, looking back.

"What's up?" – Ice question.

- I don't know, but I won't go back to see it either.

“We'd better keep running, before they catch us.” – Ice advises.

Ryan agrees, and continues running.

- I think we're being hunted. I feel like they're chasing us.

“vampires?” Ice asks.

- Probably. I have to find some way to clean myself up. It's hard to run when this smell keeps making me want to throw up all the time.

Ryan runs non-stop until night falls. When he looked, many miles back, a red stain tinged the night.

In the night silence, he crosses the border of the forbidden zone,
