Hrolf gave Gael a long stare. A servant had brought the food into his room and although it was before him, he didn't touch it. He was staring squarely at his father, his lips set in a hard line. "Why are you being like this?" Hrolf sighed, breaking the silence."I won't eat it until Ashina is released." Gael maintained his stance, giving his father an unwavering look."Gael, you have to eat to be strong." Hrolf held his hands, they were so cold.His son had gotten his stubbornness from him no doubt. Gael looked away, refusing to listen to anything his father had to say.He didn't want to succumb no matter what his father said. Hrolf walked into the cell with a smile on his face. He darted his eyes to a corner where Ashina rested her head on the wall.He studied her sleeping frame for some minutes watching how her chest heaved as she snored softly. Ashina questioned Alpha Hrolf when he remained silent even though they had stepped into his office.It was a wide beautiful office and the rays of sunlight streaming in illuminated it giving it an ethereal glow. "Let's go." Hrolf rushed out of his study with Cassie trailing after him.As he dashed to they ran down the stairs, he wondered why they had a breach again. He rushed to the labyrinth. It was dark but almost immediately a familiar sight greeted them. About ten wolves circled the place. Hrolf gritted his teeth, soaking in their figures."Make sure one of them is caught." Hrolf commanded his guards."Yes." They echoed.Cassie signaled to the guards and they nodded, blocking the Pack's entrance from the intruders.The intruders let out a howl and attacked. His hands vibrated with anger because although he had run after the figure he saw, he couldn't catch up with it.A myriad of emotions swept through him. Why were strange things happening in his Pack?
