It had been two days since Elle’s visit and Elena was quite disturbed. She didn’t know if she was right or wrong. Elle has been a good friend and even though she was here, she was here for Elena and not Aslan. But Elena’s past had taught her something. She could never trust anyone. She was wary of Elle, who had been nothing but kind to her in the past.

Life had done wrong by Elena. The desire for a perfect family had led her to believe that she was supposed to sacrifice and do whatever she could, but it was not true.
