Chapter 156

LYRA POV.

We sat down and this was the first time I was clearly seeing Matt. He was muscular for his age and it did look like he was hitting the gym.

"Try this." He put a piece of chicken wing on my plate and I thanked him.

We ate our dinner silently and I was glad that people were not forcing me to say something to them.

I did wonder where Mom and Mr. Walton. I was glad they weren't here honestly because it would have been difficult for me to face them.

Though I know them but after hearing from my father I needed to control myself before meeting them.

"What did you plan on doing tonight?" Matt asked excitedly that it didn't suit him for his age.

I chose to stay silent because there wasn't much I was planning to do anyway but the way he was looking at me constantly it was better to answer him.
