Chapter 157

LYRA POV.

I walked towards my bed for support when my entire body collapsed on the floor and I hit my head on the concrete.

The pain I felt made me scream out that I heard footsteps approaching my room.

I held my head so tightly thinking it would reduce my pain even though I knew nothing was going to happen.

"Are you okay?" I heard their questions. My full focus was on my head so I didn't reply to them but I did nod my head.

" Please don't cry." He coaxed me and it was not something people have done for me. We both were sitting on the floor, him being in front of me.

"It hurts." I tell them and cry in front of them like a kid.

"I will get some ice for her." Matt says and he walks out of the room leaving me and Lorenzo.

"Show me where you are hurt?" Lorenzo asks softly and I look at him with tears filled in them. I remember what he warned about crying earlier.

"Everywhere" I tell him and tears roll down my cheeks like rain.

"What did I say about crying the last time?" He asks
