Chapter 49

The first vampire arrived shortly before the sun came up and since then they have been arriving slowly throughout the day. Their presence had forced the omegas and even some of the warriors to avoid the house completely.

Even though werewolves and vampires weren’t enemies, they didn’t exactly get along either. Instead they tended to avoid contact with one another, with the werewolves keeping to their packs in small towns while the vampires kept to larger cities. Most werewolves could go their entire life never having seen a vampire in real life.

The vampires themselves were an interesting group. Some of them looked like normal office workers but others among them looked as though they were frozen in time at various decades in history. It made me wonder if they dressed like this normally or if they were only doing it to show off how old they were. I couldn’t see how some of them could possibly get away with dressing in such a way in everyday life.
