Chapter 24 – Ready to Go Home

Several weeks went by with Reign in the hospital, I hardly ever left her side. I showered in her bathroom, ate with her and attended to her every need. She would get frustrated with me, telling me I needed to go and take care of myself and Ayres. I kept assuring her that we were fine and that there was no way that Ayres would agree to leave her side. Her nose was much better, thankfully there was no real damage, it was slightly cracked but it would heal within several weeks. Her leg on the other hand would take about three to six months to heal, that fucker snapped her leg in two and they needed to use a rod and pins to put it back together. She was moved to a private room and was never left unguarded.
