ADRIAN

“What? I already told you—she's been like this for three minutes!”

“I understand, Adrian, but she wouldn’t just collapse without a cause,” Richmond’s voice crackled through the receiver, frustratingly calm from the other side. “Have you tried CPR?”

“God damn it, Doc!” I snapped, pacing beside her still body. “Get your ass here—now! I’m telling you, all her senses shut down. No heartbeat. No breath. She's gone—what the fu—”

Then I heard it.

A sound.

A faint squirm, like something waking from a deep, otherworldly slumber.

And then—thump.

Her heartbeat.

Another. Stronger.

I turned on my heel, heart in my throat. Her body twitched, limbs stirring slowly. Her chest rose sharply as air filled her lungs again—and steam… was rising from her skin.

She was burning.

Literally. Her skin shimmered with heat, vapor dancing from her as though fire kissed every inch of her. I stumbled forward, kneeling beside her, reaching for her—

Then I saw them.

Her eyes.

OMEGA NATHANDeep breath.Nairobi. Loud. Alive. Next level. The sun was barely rising, a sleepy gold bleeding over the horizon, stretching shadows across the train platform as we stepped out. The city greeted us with that sharp urban scent — a cocktail of morning chapati smoke, metal, and fast-footed ambition. But none of it mattered.None of it came close to what had my heart doing backflips in my damn chest.Her.I turned to my left and—God fucking damn. There she was. Jules. In that tight blue dress. The one that didn’t just hug her curves but worshiped them. The fabric clung to every part of her like it knew it had won the lottery.I swallowed. Hard.My mate. Even if she didn’t say it, I knew she felt it. That pull. That ache. That silent war in her eyes every time she looked at me and forced herself to look away. And me? I was going crazy.“When will I finally taste it,” I muttered under my breath, just low enough so only the city wind could hear. “When will you finally stop

THE UNIONALPHA GREGORYThe council chamber was suffocating — too many bodies, too many egos, and just enough fear in the air to make the walls feel like they were closing in.The oakwood table at the center of the room groaned under the weight of relic files, ancient scrolls, weapons blueprints, and cups of untouched tea. Maps of the territory spanned across the far wall, marked with red ink and burnt edges.I slammed my palm on the table, voice cutting through the murmurs like a blade.“That is enough, Steinhart,” I roared, eyes fixed on him. “We understand your feelings, but if the danger is closing in, then whether you like it or not, Adrian stands at the center of all of it.”Steinhart scoffed, leaning forward. His eyes burned with restrained fury, lips curled in disdain. “How much have you fallen, old friend…” he sneered. “Twenty years ago, when the first Bloodhound Fang attacked, we held our ground — without the need to depend on bedtime stories or so-called legends.”“This isn

SYRAMy body felt like it had been hit by a truck.Heavy. Aching. Burning.Every step toward the bathroom was a struggle—like my limbs were weighted with iron, like my muscles had been stretched past their limit and stitched back together with flame. The bite marks along my neck, shoulders, and thighs throbbed with dull, stubborn pain… and they weren’t fading.Sure, I wasn’t a full wolf anymore—at least, that’s what I’d convinced myself of years ago—but I still had healing abilities. Minor cuts and bruises would vanish in minutes. But these? These were staying. I turned the shower knob, letting the water heat up until it nearly scalded, then stepped under it with a hiss. The droplets hit me like pinpricks. The heat, the sting—it should have hurt less.My fingers found the fresh wound near my collarbone—the one he smeared his blood on after wrapping the Moonstone around my neck.I should have resisted.I should have said no.Instead, I’d stood there, half-aware, half-consumed, lettin

ADRIAN.I just stood there, watching her.She hadn’t even noticed me walk in—so engrossed, or maybe just absent-minded, staring at her reflection like the mirror held a secret she hadn’t figured out yet.Her hair was covered, a fresh towel wrapped lazily around it, and she’d changed into a white robe. Short one. Mid-thigh. I didn’t pick it for her by accident. That robe was a design of my wicked intentions. It showed just enough to keep my imagination on fire and my sanity clinging to its last thread. The layout of every sin I was planning? All right, there in fabric form. And I was more than willing to dedicate my soul to committing each one—no regrets.“Hey, Sunshine?” I drawled, leaning against the doorframe. “What’s in that pretty head of yours that you didn’t even hear me come in?”She jerked like I’d shot lightning at her, spun around with the dumbest, wide-eyed expression.“Ouch,” I teased, laughing under my breath. “Here I was, skipping meetings and sprinting home just becau

SYRA“I see,” Miss Gabriella exhales as I wrap up my presentation and return to my seat across from Lucian. My eyes flick briefly to Asher and Kate. I had to admit, their proposal was solid—creative even. CoolerMan had potential. But Moonclaw? Moonclaw was innovative. It had heart. The only thing holding us, was our slightly lower budget compared to theirs.Miss Gabriella scans through the printed presentations on the table, sighs softly, then lifts her gaze toward us.“I’ll present all of this to the board,” she says at last. “I like the concept, but they’ll make the final call.”She leans back, brushing her fingers along the edge of her teacup. “But since we’re already here, how about we share some tea? Who knows, we might end up working together… some of you, at least.”Crownstar Corporate—Kenya’s second-largest real estate and luxury housing firm. The headquarters, a towering forty-story masterpiece in the heart of Westlands, was nothing short of intimidating. It loomed with power

ALPHA STEINHART ALDENI loosened my tie with one hand while pouring myself a generous drink with the other. The amber liquid swirled in the glass. A deep exhale escaped my lips as I sank into the leather seat, the burn of the drink already warming my throat.“You really should slow down, Alden,” Alpha Jones said, calmly pouring himself a glass of whiskey before sliding two more glasses across the table—one for Michael, the other for Jessicah.I let out a dry laugh, bitter and humorless. “I don’t think we can slow down, can we?” I muttered, settling deeper into my seat. “Sooner or later… the meeting will have to happen.”“You mean the Union Conference?” Jessicah asked, her tone wary. “Still, what the hell are we supposed to tell them? That the great evil has emerged again? You know only those with the true Steinhart blood can see it.”“I still don’t understand why we shouldn’t just tell the boy,” Michael added, his brow furrowing. “Adrian has—”“Sshh!” I cut him off sharply, hand rais

SYRA.The room is classic. To be precise, it’s styled less like a meeting room and more like a luxurious private suite. Seven plush dining-lounge sets, each arranged with a casual elegance, wrap around the space. There’s even a sleek kitchenette tucked into the far wall—fully stocked, no doubt, for board members who’d rather dine mid-deal than leave mid-project.Everything in here screams wealth. Mr. Steinhart takes the seat directly across from me. It’s been two days since the last dinner. We hadn’t met again—he’s a busy man, and frankly, so am I.But still... was it rude of me not to call?Is he angry? Or... is this about something else entirely?Like asking me to join the Moonhart Pack?I draw in a quiet, nervous breath as refreshments are placed between us, the scent of freshly ground coffee mixing with the soft citrus from a cut fruit bowl. But what really started to itch at me was the presence of the two women. They hadn’t blinked once.Just kept staring.Like I was some stran
