Barend’s room was right in front of her, but Felen still didn’t dare to enter it. Horror and anxiety stuffed her as memories of her childhood time was dashing through her mind.
Death and being on the verge of death were her greatest fear. She had experienced it two times at all.
As Abelard had told before, her life might be in danger. Her father would kill her tonight. The chance was high.
“Are you hesitating because your fear is greater than your thirst for revenge or your beloved brother’s words influenced you?” Leon revealed his death god-like figure in front of her.
“How weak!” he boosted, insulting her again.
“I’m not weak!” She scoffed. The way he belittled her in every chance pissed her off.
