Asher’s Point of View

Derek and I stand in the war room as the chosen warriors, Evan, Lucas, Mason, and Cole, walk in.

"Alpha, Beta."

They greet us as they line up and wait.

Derek looks at me and nods his head.

“All yours, Alpha.”

He says and I nod my head. I turn back to the warriors.

“The four of you have been chosen to come with me on a scouting mission.”

I say and Mason nods his head slowly.

“Where to, Alpha?”

“North to the no man’s land between Black Eclipse and Crescent Moon.”

I say and Lucas frowns.

“That area is off limits.”

He says and Derek nods his head.

“Exactly. One of our alliance packs tracked the rogues there.”

Derek says.

“So we are expecting there to be hostiles?”

Evan asks as he steps forward and I nod my head.

“Possibly yes. We don't know if they are there, but maybe there is something there that could help us find them.”

“Why are only five of us going?”

Cole asks with a frown, folding his arms in front of his chest.

“Six. Delta Jake

Sienna’s Point of View The warriors catch up to us less than ten minutes after Scott said they would. I spot the first patrol SUV in my rearview mirror and the tightness in my chest loosens just a little. “They’re here.” I say quietly.and Bianca looks up, her eyes still glassy. “What?” “The warriors. They are here, we're not alone, okay?” I say and she nods her head clutching Ethan a little tighter to her chest. Aiden notices the cars. “Are those the pack cars?” He asks and I nod my head. “Yes, baby. They were in town as well and now they are just making sure thar we get back home safely.” “Oh... Okay.” He says, leaning back against his chair. The rest of the drive is silent except for Ethan’s soft noises and the hum of the engine. By the time we reach the pack gates, my shoulders are aching from the tension gripping them. The gates open immediately and we go through quickly. Scott is already waiting for us on the steps when I pull up to the pack house. He rushes

Sienna’s Point of ViewWe slide into a booth near the window, the bags from the daycare run stacked neatly next to our table like we are moving in instead of grabbing some lunch.Aiden immediately climbs into his seat, swinging his legs. “I’m hungry.”“We know. You have been complaining about being hungry for the last ten minutes.” I say and he frowns at me.“Yes. And you took to long, now I’m starving.”He says and Bianca laughs softly as she settles Ethan into the highchair next to her. “He sounds like someone else I know.”“I have no idea who you’re talking about.” I reply innocently, grinning at her.The waitress comes over, handing out menus, and Aiden doesn’t even look at his before he orders. “I want chicken tenders.”He says and I roll my eye playfully. “Of course you do.” I say.“And fries.”“Obviously.”I say, nodding my head.“And ketchup.” “I’ll alert the chef immediately.”I say and he grins at me.Bianca glances at the menu, then back at me. “He’s easy.”“That’s

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 130

Asher’s Point of View The screen in front of me flickers as the last connection locks in. Six faces fill the monitor, each framed by different offices, war rooms, or, in Adriaan’s case, what looks suspiciously like a kitchen table. The low hum of background noise settles as everyone adjusts their cameras. “Alright, that is everyone.” I say, leaning back in my chair slightly. “Can we start?” I ask and Scott nods his head. “Go ahead.” I glance down at the notes in front of me but I don’t really need them. I have been living and breathing this for weeks. “We’ll do this the same way as last time. Updates, and no speculation unless you are sure.” I say firmly and Adriaan lets out a heavy sigh. “You’re no fun anymore.” He says and I roll my eyes at him. “I tend to stop being fun when rogues start circling our borders.” I reply flatly, earning a few low chuckles. “Fine, fine. ” Adriaan says, lifting his hands, grinning at me before he continues. “Crescen

Sienna’s Point of ViewI glance around the kitchen as Scott settles Ethan into his carrier by the table, with Aiden already hovering close, peering in like his life depends on watching every single movement the baby makes.“He’s bigger than last time.” Aiden says, his eyes wide and Scott laughs. “You say that every time you see him.”“That’s because it’s true. Babies grow fast.”Aiden insists. Bianca gives him a soft smile from where she is setting a dish down and she nods her head. “You are right Aiden. He is growing fast.”"I told you so."Aiden says grinning at Scott and Bianca and I laugh.I move back towards the stove, stirring the pot. “Alright, dinner is almost ready. Everyone sit down before Aiden decides to narrate Ethan’s entire life story.”I say and Aiden frowns at me. “I already know his life story... He eats, he sleeps, he poops a lot and sometimes he cries.”He says seriously and Scott snorts. “You just described most adults.”Aiden frowns at him."What?"He asks

Sienna’s Point of View A loud thump hits my mattress and then a small body launches onto me. “Mommy!” I laugh as the air gets knocked out of my lungs. “Good morning to you too.” Aiden scrambles over me, climbing like a little mountain goat before flopping onto my chest. I grab him instantly, pulling him close to me and I begin pressing kisses all over his cheeks. “No, mommy!” He squeals, already laughing. “Oh yes. I have to give you all the kisses.” I say, my fingers wiggling at him before I begin to tickle his sides and he shrieks, giggling so hard he can barely breathe, squirming as tries to roll away. “Stop! Mommy stop!” He gasps out, but I don't stop, I continue to tickle him and he laughs louder. “I said stop!” He yells again and I finally stop, collapsing next to him on the bed and pulling him into my arms again, hugging him tightly. “I need food.” He says dramatically, still a little breathless. I raise an eyebrow at him. “Oh, you do?” I

  • The Luna He Left Behind   Chapter 127

Sienna’s Point of View I stare at the ceiling for what feels like the hundredth time, my blanket twisted around my legs as I roll onto my side and then onto my back again. I guess sleep is not happening tonight. Every time I close my eyes, I hear his voice, echoing through my head. I huff quietly and press my lips together. “Get it together.” I whisper to myself, but my heart doesn’t listen. The call replays in my head over and over again. The way he sounded nervous. The way he didn’t push when I told him I couldn’t just jump back into everything. I bring my arm up and cover my eyes. Agreeing to talk to him doesn’t mean that I forgive him. It doesn’t mean that I have forgotten everything that happened. And it definitely doesn’t mean letting him back into my life without rules to protect me and Aiden. My wolf stirs softly under the surface, not pushing, not demanding, just quietly watching my internal struggle. We need to set some boundaries. She murmurs after a whil
