Sienna’s Point of View The warriors catch up to us less than ten minutes after Scott said they would. Six faces fill the monitor, each framed by different offices, war rooms, or, in Adriaan’s case, what looks suspiciously like a kitchen table. Sienna’s Point of View I stare at the ceiling for what feels like the hundredth time, my blanket twisted around my legs as I roll onto my side and then onto my back again. I guess sleep is not happening tonight. Every time I close my eyes, I hear his voice, echoing through my head. I huff quietly and press my lips together. “Get it together.” I whisper to myself, but my heart doesn’t listen. The call replays in my head over and over again. The way he sounded nervous. The way he didn’t push when I told him I couldn’t just jump back into everything. I bring my arm up and cover my eyes. Agreeing to talk to him doesn’t mean that I forgive him.
