The lazy Sunday afternoon unfolded, and Brenda and I found ourselves sprawled on the floor of my room floor, surrounded by a puzzle that seemed to mock our attempts at solving it. Pieces scattered around us, creating a chaotic mosaic of colours.

"This puzzle is more challenging than I thought. Are you sure we can do this, Brenda?"

Brenda chuckled, her eyes fixed on a particularly elusive piece. She was the guru here when it came to arranging puzzles and I didn’t know how she did it but she always knew where to place the right missing piece.

It was impressive

"Absolutely. The more challenging, the better. It's a good distraction for our boredom."

According to what she had told me a few hours ago, the pack would not be back till it was sunset. It was a monthly ritual to train and understand themselves as wolves. Which I kind of envied, the pack I grew up in, I don't think they did such things.
