Blair's Point Of View
I stood in the parlor as I cleaned the floor, as I was ordered by Jayce. This part of the tile was one of the hardest to scrub. He purposely and willingly gave me this task to scrub and leave no stains behind. He also threatened to beat me up if he saw any dirt. The floor had brown tiles and he asked me to make sure it was white. I was exhausted. As I cleaned I heard people talking and laughing from behind. I turned around with my hopes high to see who it was only to see Anabelle and her friend, Jessica coming into the mansion. I had always hated this girl. Before our parents died, she influenced my sister to make bad decisions. “I’m so glad that you’re happy my sweet friend. You’re finally with the man you’ve always loved,” she said with joy to her friend. Anabelle blushed childishly and hugged her friend for the kind words. “When are you two going to go to the altar?” “Girl! Be patient! Everything will come together perfectly,” she said as she giggled. “I'm just so glad for you, my friend. My friend will get married to her one true love and I want the whole universe to see this happiness,” she said joyfully with Anabelle nodding with her. The moment they set their eyes on me, their mood changed. They looked furious . “Is this not that your sister, Blair? I thought she had already divorced him? What is she doing here?” Jessica said as she whispered to her friend. “Yes, it is her.” “Why is she still here? I thought Jayce asked her to leave?” They spoke with low voices to themselves unaware I could hear them. I pretended to be working while they still gossiped. “She asked Jayce to give her three months to fulfill some wishes for his late father. The liar! I do not know if she’s lying or speaking the truth,” My sister mocked me. Jessica chuckled with her friend as they mocked me. “She’s a stupid fellow. She thought she had her life together more than me. I’m happy that her child died. If the child were still living, I wonder what she would’ve done to you and your husband?” “It is a good thing,” Anabelle said. As I listened to what they said I tightened my fists and clenched my jaw inside of me. I felt Betty wanting to come out but I held back. “Welcome!” Jayce’s voice interrupted and changed my mood. I acted like I did not see him and I continued to clean. “Welcome Jessica, it is my honor to have you here.” “I feel the same,my future brother-in-law.” They shook hands happily. Jayce escorted Anabelle and Jessica inside the living room after he made sure I curtsied in his presence. “If I come back to find you still cleaning here, you’ll be sorry you stayed back,” he said as he sparked as he showed off to Anabelle's friend. The lady was so happy. She ordered me to get some snacks and serve her as a guest. All of which I did without complaining. When I came into the living room with the snacks, I was shocked to hear about their wedding. “I want my friend to still have plans for her career. You know she’s a model and I want her to continue her status on the stage even after she gets married,” Jessica told Jayce and he laughed and assured Jayce that he will allow Anabelle to continue with modeling. “I met her as a beautiful model. I think it will not be fair to let her dreams die because she has come to marry me,” he said as he sang her praises. Annabelle blushed as she buried herself in her friend’s arms. “This is good news. I cannot wait for you two to become one. When two great people become one, their force will be undeniable.” Jessica and Alpha Jayce laughed. As they talked, I came with some snacks. As I was about to give Jessica her snacks, I stepped on something and fell, which caused all the tea to pour on her body. The lady screamed with anguish in her voice as she tried to wipe the juice. I was shocked at what happened and looked around me to see what truly caused the fall. I was very sure of what I was saying. I turned back to see Anabelle's feet in front of me. She purposely put her legs there. “Jessica!” She cried out. “Jessica!” Jayce shook and stood to help her out. Jessica was greatly annoyed. She did not want anyone to touch her. She slapped Jayce’s hand from touching her and screamed, “look at me! See my body!” “I am very sorry Jessica,” Jayce kept apologizing to Jessica. Alpha Jayce's eyes came to me and I shook in fear. “I swear I did not do it. It is not me.” “Shut up you thief!” She screamed as he yelled out at me. I fell silent and bent my face down. “I don't see any reason why you are keeping this lady, Alpha jayce. How will my friend be safe with her around?” She also lashed out on Jayce and left in anger. Anabelle gave a fake cry and followed her friend. “Oh Jessica, I’m sorry,” Jayce said as he tried to chase them but they left. He ran back inside the room and looked at me angrily as they left. “I swear Jayce, I am not the one that did it!” I tried to defend myself and the next thing I felt was a slap on my cheek that sent me spiraling to the ground. I fell flat to the ground immediately and my eyes were shaking and my body convulsing. Suddenly, I saw my back and it looked like wings were growing out long. “So this is why you had been choosing to stay, you evil girl! You want to destroy my relationship before you leave huh?” He roared. He kept making me angry and I was trying to control Betty from coming out , “ let me out, Blair,” Betty screamed. “Betty,”I moaned as I struggled to hold her back. After a few tries, I succeeded in keeping her inside of me. “Guards!” Jayce called out. Two guards came out. “Yes, Alpha jayce?” “Take this loser to her room and lock her. She should not be given anything to eat or water till she had learned her lesson. Take her from this place!” He said as he gave the judgment. Without delay, the guards picked me up from the floor and took me away like a prisoner. I had tears escaping my eyes as I vowed to make them all pay.As the first rays of sunlight spilled over the horizon, Blair and Kade felt a wave of peace wash over them. The shadows that had once haunted them began to fade away, revealing a beautiful landscape filled with warmth and light. The air felt fresh and inviting, and the world around them sparkled with new life. This was a moment of triumph, a moment to celebrate their victory over fear. Blair turned to Kade, her heart brimming with love and gratitude. “We really did it,” she said softly, her voice filled with wonder. “We faced our fears and came out stronger.” She could hardly believe it. After everything they had been through, they had finally found their way back to the light. Kade smiled back at her, his eyes shining with warmth. “And we did it together. That’s what makes us strong,” he replied, pulling her into a warm embrace. The comfort of his presence made her feel safe and loved. I’m trapped in my own darkness!” she spat, but her voice wavered, re
