Chapter Thirty - Breaking And Entering

Theo and Lucy headed back to their own apartments to drop their things off after they had finished at the riverside and arranged to meet again just before midnight.

As soon as she was home, Lucy busied herself with organizing her notes and her planner and readied her school bag for the next day so that she wouldn’t be rushing around in the morning.

Before she knew it, it was almost time to head out and meet Theo.

“You should probably change into something darker if you don’t want to be noticed. It’s almost midnight,” Maia suggested.

Lucy nodded and changed quickly, throwing a short text to Theo as she pulled her leggings up and slipped her shoes on.

By the time she arrived at the park close to the school's administration center, Theo was already there and dressed similarly to Lucy. He handed her a plain black baseball hat and a black face cover with a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth.
