Olivias POV

My beta, Dexter, stood beside me on the high hill overlooking the Black Dynasty Pack.

"Did you send the message to His Majesty?" I asked and he nodded.

"His Majesty has sent Cassian, Luna Olivia's brother and he will be at Black Dynasty Pack any moment from now."

"Then it's best we start moving." I said and I turned to head down from the mountain but my beta's hand held me back.

"Alpha D…"

"I'm no longer your Alpha."

"You will forever be my Alpha."

"What is it you want to say?" I asked, as my eyes scanned the forest.

"Is it safe for you to move around like this? If anyone from Black Dynasty recognizes you then our plan has failed." He said and I nodded.

"Isn't that the reason you dressed us up like dark spies from the west?" I said gesturing to the cloak on his body that was also on mine. "If you ask me, this is even more suspicious."

I walked down the mountain as he followed after me. I had wanted to bring malice between the Alpha King and Cyrus but who knew Cyrus would go ahead to do it on his own? How could he treat his wife that way?

By the time I had come down from the mountain to the pack mansion gate, at a safe distance where I could hear and see, the guard had already carried a lifeless Olivia to the gate, wailing that the Luna was dead.

"The Luna is dead! The Luna is dead!"

Guards were panicking as they ran to call Cyrus. I felt something snag at my heart as I watched her peaceful lifeless face. The only woman I ever loved, and yet the woman I had come to realize I needed to use to have revenge on those who had wronged me.

My beta looked at me. "Are you okay, Alpha?"

I just swallowed hard. "We can bring her back. It's just for a while." I told him but I knew that didn't help. Seeing her lifeless, even for a while, made my heart ache.

Just then, three black cars came speeding through the gate. Prince Cassian had come. I knew it.

The prince stepped out immediately and walked toward his sister's body. He let out a guttural growl that echoed through the silence.

"Olivia! Why did you leave your comfort for someone who would let you die while pregnant? Why did you do this to yourself?"

Medics arrived and they covered her body with a white sheet. And just then, the person I wanted to see above all came out of the mansion. Cyrus. His eyes were wide and his hair was ruffled, looking like he had just woken up. And beside him, my eyes widened.

Vanessa.

"Luna," Dexter whispered beside me.

I turned to him sharply. "She is not your Luna."

I watched the whole scene play out in real time.

Cyrus rushed toward the body, his face pale with shock. "Olivia? Olivia, what happened? What happened to her?"

He tried to push past the guards to touch the white sheet covering her face. But Cassian moved faster. He landed a brutal punch across Cyrus's jaw, sending him stumbling backward.

"You!" Cassian roared. "What did you do to my sister? What did you do?"

Cyrus wiped the blood from his lip, his eyes still fixed on the body. "I didn't do anything. She was supposed to be in the cave. The silver was supposed to be safe. It was only supposed to delay childbirth."

"Safe? Safe?" Cassian grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the ground. "You locked my sister in a silver cave while she was pregnant! You chained her! You let her die! You let her die, you piece of filth!"

Cyrus scrambled to his feet, trying to reach the body again. "Please, just let me see her. Just let me touch her. She's my wife. She's my Luna."

"Your wife? Your Luna?" Cassian laughed bitterly. "You treated her like she was nothing! You let your brother's widow poison her mind! You let her die in a cold cave while you were massaging your mistress's feet!"

I watched Cyrus's face crumble. He looked lost, confused, like he couldn't understand what was happening. "There must have been a mistake. It's my Luna who died. Your sister. I've never seen her before."

I scoffed from my hiding place. "Cyrus, just how stupid can you be?"

Vanessa stepped forward then, her face pale with shock. "Are you saying Olivia was indeed a royal wolf?" She asked, her voice trembling. "She was really the Celestial Wolf?"

Cassian ignored her completely. He turned away, trying to take his sister's body. But Cyrus ran toward him, begging and pleading.

"Please, Cassian! Please let me see her! I loved her! I loved her!"

Cassian spun around and delivered another brutal blow to Cyrus's face. "Loved her? You never loved her! You used her! You humiliated her! You watched her die! Don't you dare say you loved her!"

He grabbed Cyrus by the throat. "You will get a bigger punishment soon enough. Just wait. My father will hear about this. The Alpha King will hear about this. And when he does, your entire pack will burn."

He threw Cyrus to the ground and Cyrus lay there, beaten and broken, whimpering like a pup.

As they loaded Olivia's body into the car, Dexter turned to me. "He must have loved her, Alpha. He looks devastated."

I growled low in my throat. "He doesn't deserve her. He never would."

We watched Cassian drive away with Olivia's body and then we made our way to the main road where we knew Cassian would pass.

We stood in the middle of the road as the car approached. It honked loudly, the driver cursing at us to move. But we didn't budge.

"I would like to speak to Prince Cassian!" I yelled, knowing they couldn't see my face through the cloak.

One of the guards stepped out, cursing at us. "Get out of the way! Do you know who you're blocking?"

But Cassian stepped out of one of the cars and the guard immediately fell silent.

Cassian's eyes narrowed at us. "Who are you? What's the meaning of this? You better start talking if you don't want to pay with your life."

I stepped forward slowly. "I have a way to bring back the princess."

Cassian visibly shook. "What do you mean?"

"Princess Olivia can come back to life. She's the Celestial Wolf, isn't she? I know a thing or two you might find interesting."

"How do I trust you? You appeared from nowhere."

"There's no harm in trying, is there?" I said. "Of course, it won't be for free."

Cassian studied me carefully. "Who are you, even? And why would I trust you?"

I sighed and reached up, finally removing the cloak and the hoodie from my face. The prince squinted at me and then his eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

"I'm Dorian. Former Alpha of the Black Dynasty Pack and Cyrus's elder twin brother. I suppose you could say I was presumed dead." I paused, letting the words sink in. "How do you feel, seeing a dead person come back to life?"

Cassian stared at me, his mouth slightly open.

I smiled. "Are you willing to trust me with the princess's life now?”

  • The Luna’s Faith   Chapter 9 : Returning as a Ghoy

Olivia’s POVThe capital rose from the morning mist like a memory I had tried to bury.I had left these walls five years ago with a heart full of reckless devotion and a bracelet that held everything I was. I returned now as something else entirely—a woman who had died, a mother who had lost her child before she could hold him, a Celestial Wolf whose power stirred restlessly beneath skin that still remembered silver. The great spires of the royal city caught the early light and threw it back in sharp, familiar angles. Every tower, every banner, every distant sound of the waking court felt like a finger pressed against an old bruise. We entered through a lesser gate used by merchants and lesser envoys, the kind of entrance that did not demand fanfare or formal announcement. Cassian had arranged everything. False names. Plain cloaks. A story about distant cousins seeking audience on minor territorial matters. My silver hair was braided tightly and hidden beneath a dark hood that shadowe

  • The Luna’s Faith   Chapter 8: The Face I cannot Trust

Olivia’s POVThe journey toward the capital began in silence. We rode under the thinning cover of night, the three of us moving like ghosts along roads that had once belonged only to royal messengers and the dead. Cassian took the lead, silver hair hidden beneath a dark hood, every line of his body coiled with the protective tension of a brother who had already lost me once. Dexter—introduced to me only briefly as Dorian’s Beta—rode at the rear, a solid, weathered presence who spoke little and watched everything. And between them, close enough that I could feel the heat of his presence even through the cool pre-dawn air, rode Dorian.I kept my eyes fixed on the path ahead. It should have been simple. I had agreed to the contract. I had placed my hand in his beside the sacred river and spoken the words that bound us for revenge. Yet every time the moonlight caught the sharp angle of his jaw or the dark fall of his hair, my breath still stuttered. The face was the same. The same mouth t

  • The Luna’s Faith   Chapter 7: The Contract Written In Blood And Moonlight

Olivia’s POVThe sacred river still glowed behind us when the weight of Dorian’s offer settled fully into my bones.Marriage.The word should have tasted like ash. I had already given that vow once, kneeling in a sunlit garden with silver hair unbound and a heart so full of foolish hope it had blinded me to every warning. I had sealed my wolf, my name, and my future into a bracelet for a man who later chained me in silver and walked away. The memory of that first promise still lived beneath my skin like a scar that never quite faded.Yet here I stood on the riverbank, dripping moonlight and river water, staring into the eyes of the twin who wore that same face and none of its weakness.Cassian’s hand remained on my shoulder, warm and steady, the only familiar anchor in a night that had rewritten everything I thought I knew about survival. His voice was low, edged with the protective fury that had always lived in him.“You do not have to decide this now, Olivia. You have only just retu

  • The Luna’s Faith   Chapter 6: The River that remembered me

Olivia’s POVThe first thing I felt was cold. Not the killing cold of silver chains or the endless dark that had tried to claim me in the cave. This cold was clean. It moved. It carried the soft rush of water against my skin and the faint, impossible scent of moonlight on stone. For one disoriented heartbeat I thought I had already crossed into the Goddess’s realm. Then pain returned—sharp, deep, and centered in the hollow place where my child should have been—and I knew I was still among the living. My eyes opened.Silver light danced across the surface of a wide, slow river. The water glowed from within, as though the moon itself had poured its heart into the current. I lay half-submerged in a man’s arms, my head resting against a chest that rose and fell with steady, controlled breaths. The cloak wrapped around me smelled of pine, steel, and something darker—something that did not belong to the husband who had left me to die.I tilted my face upward. The same dark hair. The same sh

  • The Luna’s Faith   Chapter:004

Olivia's POVI saw Cyrus stop. For a moment, I thought the blood would be enough. Not because he still loved me or remained loyal. Just the sight of his wife bleeding on the floor of a cave he had put her in. Maybe that would finally make him look."It's the silver, Cyrus. Please, I need a tonic to stop the bleeding." I said, trying to urge him further. But then Vanessa cried out in his arms."Alpha. The silver must have gotten to me, my head hurts. I need some tonic."And just like that, with one word from her, Cyrus forgot all about me and walked away, leaving me in a pool of my own blood. One word from her. That was all it took. One word, and my husband chose her again.I would remember this.I gritted my teeth, my silver hair clinging to my face with dirt and sweat. I tried to stand from the ground but the blood was flowing nonstop. I would lose my pup. My Celestial wolf aura was running low but I wished it would hold out. If not for me then for my pup. It didn't matter if I died.
