"What did you just say?" I asked, my voice was shaky. It couldn't be, right? She was just kidding.

"You thought I was a bad person, right?" She asked, folding her arms.

"No," I lied, giving her a skeptical look.

"With the way you're looking at me, I can tell you're startled and nervous, but you don’t have to be. You’re my friend, and I won’t do anything to hurt you." She assured me as she came closer to me.
