Sofia's POV

I woke up and looked around, I couldn't find my mom. I wondered if she had gone out again without telling me. She often did that, coming and going as she pleased. I shrugged it off and decided to go outside to see what was going on.

As I walked out, I saw Nightshade with a group of guards. They were all dressed in serious attire, and I could tell they were preparing for something big. I walked down to them, and they greeted me. "Good morning, Luna," they said, including Nightshade.

Nightshade explained that he had gathered the youth for training. "We've been preparing for this moment for a while now," he said and continued "It's time we take action and protect our community."

I looked at the group, and they seemed ready for battle. They looked like warriors preparing for a tough journey. "Are you all ready for the fight?" I ask
