Georgina Sinclair's POV:

I can not recall dozing off.

But when I wake up, the floor feels cold under me and my back hurts like I never thought it could. My eyes are puffy and stinging from the silent tears I shed last night. A blanket that I can not recall reaching for has fallen from my shoulder and onto the floor next to me.

The faint sunlight is entering through the curtains in this dimly lit room. But I cannot feel the morning's warmth. There is no comfort in this light. It is only a reminder that time has passed while I lay motionless, like a statue crumbling in the dust.

My whole body feels hollow.

Not weak.

Not broken.

Just... empty.

I sit up slowly and pain shoots down my spine. My muscles protest and reminding me I wasn't meant to sleep on the hardwood floor and curled up like a child hiding from monsters. I stretch my arms carefully. My breath catches when I press a palm on the small of my back and letting the ache to go away.

But it doesn't.

I press my hand to my bandaged

  • The Luna's Redemption   Coffee

Georgina Sinclair's POV:I turn the last page of the Silver Project collaboration contract and let out a soft breath. Even though the room is still silent but the air has grown lighter and warmer. Alpha Marius has been observing me patiently the entire time. He appears to be trying to memorize every emotion on my face."Your legal team did an excellent job." I said while breaking the silence and closing the folder gently. "The contract is well-written. It's clear and fair too."Alpha Marius leans forward and rest his elbows on his knees and clasp his hands together. "Of course it is fair." he replied with a smile. "I can not afford to treat you unfairly. Not even in writing."I raise an eyebrow before smirking a little."Oh? And why is that?""Because you would find a way to burn my company to the ground using nothing but your words and a single post-it note." he said with a grin.I laugh and shakes my head. "You're so dramatic.""I'm not dramatic." he said while holding up a finger

  • The Luna's Redemption   Company Visit

Georgina Sinclair's POV:The trip to Alpha Marius's workplace seems to take longer than it does. It is mainly because my thoughts are unstoppable and persistent. But as soon as I pull into the Peddleton Enterprise Tower parking lot, I take a deep breath and allow myself to be in the moment.I park my car and get out of it. I adjust the light coat around me and careful not to touch the still-healing scratch on my cheek. I ignore the way a few people at the entrance glance my way. Maybe some of them recognizes me. The lobby has large and polished marble floors. A large but minimalist chandelier hangs above us and the scent of expensive air freshener stays the air.I hesitate by the front desk and wondering if I should ask the receptionist to call up to Alpha Marius's office. But nefore I can grab my phone, a man wearing glasses comes up behind me. "Miss Sinclair." he called before stopping just a step in front of me.I blink my eyes. "Yes?"Then he offers me a polite nod. "I am Har

  • The Luna's Redemption   Hangout

Georgina Sinclair's POV: I am still standing by the window when my phone vibrates on the vanity behind me. I blink my eyes then slowly turn around and pick it up. It's a message from Alpha Marius.(Want to hang out?)I raise an eyebrow at the message before a laugh almost escaping my lips. Hang out? What kind of Alpha casually says that like we are still teenagers sneaking out of training to find pastries in the village?I shake my head before typing back a reply.'You probably have way too much free time. I envy you.'The response comes almost immediately. And I can already see the smile tugging at his mouth's corner.(Nope. I just have a very reliable secretary who thrives on paperwork. So do you want to hang out or not?)I stare at the screen for a few seconds longer while considering his words. The air in this mansion feels stale. The tension is clinging to every corner like thick fog. And despite my firm resolve earlier, I can feel the way the walls seem to judge me and how the

  • The Luna's Redemption   For Freedom

Georgina Sinclair's POV:Soon, a group of omega servants walk past me. One of them bumps my shoulder. It's not hard but not softly either. She doesn't apologize while the others snicker.I pause and glance back just once. She freezes for a moment under my stare. But then, she tosses her hair and keeps walking. They think my silence is weakness. That I've already lost everything. They are all wrong. What I've lost was never mine to keep. And what I'm about to gain is something they will never understand it.When I reach the staircase leading to the garden wing, I see two warriors standing guard. They don't greet me. One looks away while the other pretends to check something on the wall. Then I sigh quietly. This is the cost of choosing myself. But I will pay it tenfold if it means I can finally step out of a life where I was shrinking to fit in. I continue down the corridor and head toward the back of the estate where the meeting room for the former Dark Shadow Pack members is temporar
