Georgina Sinclair's POV:

It's barely past noon when I hear the knock on my door. I'm in the upstairs corridor with a few important documents in my hands and trying to sort them for storage. Then one of the younger omegas knocks before opening the door.

"Luna Georgina." he called. "Alpha Marius is at the door."

My fingers tighten around the pages. I don't answer right away.

Again?

I descend the stairs slowly while keeping my expression unreadable. Then my wolf who is supposed to be dormant stirs uneasily under my skin. But I shake my head and tries to focus at work.

At the main door, Alpha Ryan is already there.

He opens it fully just when I round the corner and revealing Alpha Marius standing tall in the sunlight. He is wearing the same damn leather jacket from yesterday as if he hasn't changed or he never left.

"Alpha Marius." Ryan greeted in a measured voice. "This is unexpected. But... welcome."

Alpha Marius gives him the kind of nod one gives an acquaintance and not as an equal.
