Georgina Sinclair's POV:

The next morning, I sat up slowly and rubbing the sleep from my eyes only to find Marius already dressed in his usual dark suit. He stood by the mirror and adjusting his tie with a look of deep focus.

"Good morning..." I greeted with my voice still husky from sleep.

Marius turned instantly. His emerald eyes warming the moment they landed on me.

"Morning, love."

He walked across the room, bent down, and gave me a gentle forehead kiss.

"Get dressed. You are coming with me to the office today."

I blinked at him.

"The office?"

"Yes." he said with a smile. "You need a change of pace. I think you've been cooped up here too long and dealing with endless thoughts."

Then Marius crouched slightly so he was eye level with me.

"And besides, maybe you miss the office setting."

"Let's see... Alright. I'll go with you."

His face lit up instantly.

"Good. I'll have Lydia prepare breakfast for you while I take a quick call."
