Ame POV I have made it mid-way through the queue of patients outside already when a knock on the door stops me administering my usual ointment. I chose to ignore it until the knock becomes more impatient, the door beginning to open without my permission. “What do you think you are doing…Oh Belgaire, what can I do for you.” I have already removed my medical gloves to intercept the person entering, my tone changing when I realise it is Belgaire. “I didn’t realise you were returning to your duties today?” He smiles out, however…it doesn’t reach his eyes. He has his guard up; his tone has an element of frustration to it. “Oh yes, I just popped in to check on supplies, and well…I couldn’t help myself.
