I kissed Mira’s cheeks and rushed to the floor I shared with Zane. I needed to talk to him .

He has to know how I feel about him. I didn’t want to wait for another second without letting him know, how I truly felt.

I had lost one mate and I couldn’t loose another. I was ready to take the next step in our relationship and he needed to know that.

Zane took a big step yesterday. He stretched his hand out by telling me all about his ex mate and his past.

I know it was difficult for him but he still did. It was time I meet him half way by telling him I’m ready to be with him. To be his life partner. His companion and the mother of his children.

I run up the stairs forgetting there was something called the elevator.

“ Zane! …Zane where are you? I need to talk to you.”I knocked on his door several times but there was no response.

“Zane, are you in,there? “Still silence was the only answer that greeted my ears. This however, didn’t stop me from knocking.
