Chapter 61:Battle II

After hearing Zander’s painful roar, my head snapped in time to see six rogues jumping up at me. I quickly dodge and finished off four with my canines before I tackled the other two with my claws.

I turned to the three enemies of mine; Maxwell Warner, Enzo and Lewis.

They leaped on me simultaneously, swatting and biting into my fur. Pain swept through me and I flinged Maxwell and Enzo against the trees at the same time.

Before I could deal with Lewis, a golden wolf with purple eyes knocked into him, hurling Lewis across the battle field.

“Leah!”, Emily’s wolf and I rumbled their names in concert.

The woman of my present and future..... my everything. She was alive. She has taken care of Davina. That, I didn’t doubt her ability to do. The relief I felt in the middle of the battle was that of a happy man....
