Nine.

Blue

I hated his touch. He thought he was doing the right thing by wrapping his arms around me, but I freeze, waiting for him to let go. He keeps telling me that I’m okay, but the longer he held me, the more I thought I would scream as the memory from that night comes flooding back.

“Let go Jaxon.” I just about hear Xander over the throbbing beat of my heart.

“She’s panicking. She’s holding her breath.”

“She doesn’t like being touched.”

“I’ve got her joggers.” Bree comes towards me. Her eyes rise upwards. “Let her go. She’s going to pass out else.”

Jaxon’s arms release me and I stumble forward, righting myself.

“Put these on and sit.”

She hands me my black joggers and pulls a chair out for me as I try to calm my breathing. What the hell had happened?

Bree and Jaxon watch me in silence. Xander had Vita pinned to a chair. “Thanks.” I mutter as I feel the jacket around me.

“Are you okay now?” Those blue eyes stare into mine, searching for some kind of answer.
